We gave McAlister’s Deli another shot last night, and we’re so glad we did! My spouse picked up the order, and the staff was ready, friendly, and fast—everyone had smiles. We got two King Clubs with cheddar broccoli soup, plus two “Choose 2” combos—one with a Reuben and grilled chicken sandwich, the other with a spud max and more cheddar broccoli soup. The sandwiches were hearty, and the soup was comforting. We’d noticed past reviews weren’t great months ago, but this experience was fantastic. Even my spouse, who never writes reviews, asked me to share how great it was. Delicious food, friendly faces, and a wonderful evening!

We have issues similar to our most recent visit. I even notified them with the previous visits in hopes things would change. We had a few good orders after that but Today made me decide I will no longer eat here. I order online, pick up and eat at home. This time we had moldy bread on one sandwich. No cheese and no bacon on the other sandwich. Our nachos were crumbs for chips.

Put in an online order which included 2 salted caramel cookies. I drive through afternoon rush hour traffic on my 30 min. Lunch break to pick up my order (which was already bagged and sealed with a sticker). I rush back home to get back in order to start my shift (I’m a remote worker)…. and when I open my bag, there were NO COOKIES!. I called the restaurant and they admitted that they did have the cookies available and they did forget to put my cookies in the bag…. SO NOW, on my next break, I have to rush back down to the restaurant in half the time I have for lunch to get my cookies…. Thanks for the inconvenience…… DO BETTER!!!!!!

The new guy at the front was trying his best but the register didn’t work. He was left up there to deal with a super long line. No one came to his rescue and the kitchen staff had attitudes and several people came back with incorrect food orders. I had a jalepeno turkey crunch. Worst made sandwich I’ve ever had, almost a half of an avocado on the sandwich hardly any chips and cold. You need new management and a new crew. I used to love this place. I will never go to this location again. Two Notch Road!

The food here was quite good, particularly the jalapeño turkey and broccoli cheddar soup. The flavors were excellent and the bread was fresh. However, the service was extremely slow, even with only a few people in line. At one point, there were only four of us and one person left due to the wait. Although the soup was good, it was served cold. I hesitated to request it be warmed up due to the lengthy wait time. The food took approximately 15 minutes to prepare. Lastly the he dinning room was dirty with no napkins or cleared tables while it was empty. Overall I think I would try again but get the food to go.

This was the worst food I’ve ever gotten. This is supposed to be ultimate nachos with Chili, cheese dip, sour cream and avocado. It’s missing everything!! It’s just chips with unmelted cheese, back olives, and tomatoes. This is unacceptable.

I’ve only came here a few times, but after 7/11, I will not return. My food was literally just thrown together. I had a club sandwich with avocado and it was just disgusting. My avocado was so hard. Sandwich was extremely dry and the meat was not evenly distributed throughout the whole sandwich. I was really pissed, more so because it was my birthday and I really had a taste for their club sandwich. Annddd, we spent almost $40 for two of them.

Let me start by saying Austin the manager was awesome!!! He was walking around asking if anyone needed anything, asking how food was. He was awesome!!!!
Now if management wants to know why I didn’t give this a 5 star the cameras should be rewound and see how the girls up front are providing service. VERY VERY SLOW, and they take orders walking in the door and leave folks standing already up front waiting on drink refills to wait.
They need to be retrained to treat everyone the same or make them cooks so they don’t have to interact with people. We saw some couple walk out due to slack service while we were there and not order.
If you have 15 minutes to order/be ignored and 15 minutes waiting on an overpriced sandwich this is your place.

This place has gone so far down hill. The staff do not care at all. When I watched other peopl come up because the order was sitting at the windows and never brought to them I should have known then. I got a sandwich with no meat on it, luke warm soup. My wife had a big sandwich that had all the lettuce thrown to the side and looks like a two year old made it. The staff know they are doing bad work and their attitudes are just not for the service industry. Just close this location down you can’t find good help in this area.

I ordered lunch for my office today. Only to open my sandwich to a dead bug. I was so disgusted, but in no way did I expect the following to occur. We called the store to speak with the manager. The situation was explained to the person who answered the phone. We were offered a free sandwich but we would have to come pick it up. One of my employees explained that we’re were a distance away so the person suggested that we come after work. At that point she asked for a gift card and for some reason the phone hung up. We called back and requested to speak with the manager and were told that they would get the general manager, Mr. Heath. At this point we requested a refund for the entire order. As we were going to place an order with another restaurant. The general manager refused to reimburse the entire order citing that the issue was only with the sandwich. I disagreed and advised that there was no way for us to know that. Our order total was $91.00. I will never eat at this place again. My stomach hurts from the thought of eating a bug.
