The food was good. The biscuits were the best part. My steak and eggs were almost cold by the time I got them. The mimosas were delicious though. I appreciate the different options they had outside of traditional mimosas. The service wasn’t great however wasn’t terrible. The atmosphere was nice however wasn’t overly welcoming. The host didn’t great us with a smile which impacted the vibe when coming in. We were originally seated in a crowded walkway by the bar despite there being plenty of seating through the restaurant. I’d give it a second change however it’s not my first choice.

What can I say? We were staying at the Hyatt, and after someone in our group raved about their brunch experience, we had to stop by for dinner. It was a 5-star experience for me!

The food was excellent—my salmon was cooked to perfection. But the real star? The grits. I was initially hesitant because they are goat cheese grits, but whoever developed that recipe deserves a chef’s kiss! It was so delicious I actually ordered an extra serving to go.

I’m a Southern girl, so I will say the lemonade wasn’t quite sweet enough for my taste, but everything else was so phenomenal that I can’t wait to come back to town and visit again. Highly recommend!

This is a cute southern restaurant! The food was full of flavor and well seasoned. There were so many good options that I chose two, lol.

The atmosphere felt welcoming and down-home, and the servers was friendly and attentive. Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to and recommending!

Im going to be as respectful as possible, but I got the steak and eggs The eggs? Sorry as hell, the Steak? Sorry as hell, the Collard Greens? The sorriest. The salad? Serviceable and the grits? Not sorry as hell I just don’t like overly buttered grits and I’m sure they don’t make it like that but this time it tasted like they put the entire stick of butter in the mix. Overall I’m sure this place has other great dishes but other than my order the chicken tenders were fine, the collard greens are heavily seasoned with pepper along with my steak. And the potatoes were fine just very big. Once again overall very nice place, customer service was amazing and the restaurant itself was great but the steak and eggs, and collard greens are a hard pass for anybody who doesn’t want steak only seasoned with pepper and eggs. And if you like southern style collard greens I would most definitely not get them from here as of right now.

$47 spent btw ($31 steak and eggs with grits)
($16 chicken tenders with collard greens and potatoes

We enjoyed eating here, they have a big menu with a lot of things that sounded delicious. We weren’t blown away by our food, but it was good. Kinda wish the portion sizes were a little bigger. Fried green tomatoes were yum.

Absolutely fantastic breakfast experience! From the moment we walked in, the service was warm, welcoming, and attentive. The food came out hot and fresh, every bite was packed with flavor. The eggs were cooked to perfection, the bacon was crisp without being greasy, and the pancakes were fluffy clouds of happiness. The coffee was rich and smooth, topped off constantly without even asking. The atmosphere is cozy yet vibrant, making it the perfect spot to start the day. Easily one of the best breakfast places I’ve ever been to!

Stumbled upon this gem for Brunch before returning to DC. Made a reservation for two at 10:30 AM EST before our 1:04 PM EST trian departure from Norfolk. We made it with plenty time. The food was excellent and the server was attentive. He made great suggestions! My friend ordered the peach, don’t kill my vibe (small) and enjoyed it while I ordered the brunch punch (large) – also delicious.
I ordered the sweet and spicy chicken and waffles which was phenomenal while my friend ordered the bourbon glazed peppercorn meatloaf (comes with two sides) with a side Caesar salad (no croutons add red onions) and macaroni and cheese – she had zero complaints about her meal. In fact, she ordered additional glaze for the meatloaf anticipating needing it and by the time it arrived she had finished her meal.
I’m so happy I stumbled upon this and will make a point to return and try some other items.

The food here was really good, and I’m glad I made a reservation because the restaurant was packed. Parking is definitely the downside—garages are nearby but all cost. The closest garage actually offers a discount with the restaurant, but it’s not advertised, which I think would be super helpful to know. Other than that, everything was great and I’d definitely come back.

This chicken dish was finger-licking good, with a side of sweet and sour sauce. The chicken was crispy and juicy, while the greens were cooked perfectly. It was so good that I ate the whole thing! It feels satisfying in the gut and doesn’t break the bank.

Let’s not forget dessert. The mud pie isn’t dirty but very sweet and soft. The dessert had a chocolate and coffee flavor that isn’t too strong but comes off as very sweet, with hints of cocoa and espresso.

Do I recommend it? Yes! It’s a tasty treat, part of a very delicious ensemble. I give this place big thumbs up and highly recommend it!
