La Chope was the perfect spot to watch the Barça game.
We had the best nachos and sirloin tacos. The Maestro Dobel banderitas and the cantarito were next level.
We had such a great time. The service was amazing from the moment we walked in. We arrived right on time because it got pretty crowded quickly, so reservations might be a good idea.
Delicious food, a great crowd, and huge screens for games. The main screen was showing the football game, while a smaller screen had the soccer match on.

As a local I can say this place is top service. Especially from Martha. She was a professional, gave the best recommendations for drinks based on your likes. They also offer four mix drinks with Mezcal, that turned out to be the best Mezcal drinks I’ve had. The vibes are great for a dinner with friends and great food. A 10/10 a must if in San Miguel.

I visited San Miguel de Allende for two weeks and went to La Chope several times, initially to watch a football game. Then I saw that they have possibly the best hamburgers in the city, so on one of my visits I had the spicy guacamole burger and it did not disappoint. Delicious! Outstanding food, and great service and atmosphere. Nice beer selection too. Check them out!

We love this place, started as tourist and now that we live here it’s one of our Thurday or game night places. The burgers are amazing our favorite is the Bife, good curly fries, wedges and regular fries. Naty is a wonderful waitress attentive. Great place for large groups as well!

Went on Thursday night, which was 2 for 1 burgers. Didn’t see anything notifying the 2 for 1, but asked the server and she confirmed.
We both had the burgers with cheese and bacon and an order of fries to share. All very tasty. The server Nataly was excellent- great sense of humour, helpful, attentive and patient with our limited Spanish.

This is our first time visiting SMA and we were thrilled by this amazing find. We’re traveling with 2 small children and finding a restaurant with them can be challenging. We ran into La Chope and we couldn’t stop talking about it the rest of the night! We were greeted with a big smile and walked to our table. Our server, Mauricio, was the most kid friendly and attentive server we’ve had yet. Maurizio made sure we were taken care of at all times. He made small talk to the kids who enjoyed his company. We will return only because of the service we were provided by Mauricio. HIGLY RECOMMENDED!

I came here because of the prior reviews about the service and it was incredible…best I’ve ever experienced in a sports bars, and I used to work in the service industry! From the moment you walk in the door to the servers, management, bartenders, maintenence of the tables while you’re dining…absolutely remarkable; and even during the very busy NFL Championship games. There are plenty of screens, including a massive one on the middle of the room, and the food portion sizes were sumptuous. I’d definitely come back!

Awesome burger spot in SMA! We went on a Thursday afternoon, 2×1 Burgers, and were impressed! I had the Fondue Burger and I would totally recommend it! They had even colored the buns darker for Dia De Los Muertos! Fun experience, great food, friendly service, and nice atmosphere! Stop by and and have an awesome burger here!
