Checked out a cool (relatively) New Mexican place in Arroyo Grande called Hanna’s. I loved how big and spacious the place is. They make street tacos, which I love, as well as a number of other dishes. The food was plentiful, almost too much food. The carne asada was a little dry for my liking, but still pretty good overall. I’m hoping to try one of their Micheladas.

Tried the two combination dinners. The seafood tacos all had a lovely guacamole based sauce and cabbage on them. The salmon was the best of the three. The carnitas and pastor were well flavored but the chicken was very bland and had little taste. The salsa for the chips was very mild. The green salsa had a bit of a bite and went well with the fish tacos.
The dining room though was very cold! It’s a large empty room and I’m sure they will do something to crate some atmosphere with time.

Great new Mexican find in Arroyo Grande. The staff are very friendly (Hanna is the owners niece). Great value: the food portions are large, but at pre-inflation prices. And the quality is great, too: for example the salad that came with my wife’s enchiladas was the best we’ve ever had at a Mexican restaurant, with spring mix, beets, carrots, other veggies, and a fantastic dressing. The decor is industrial, and the salsas were only good, but the food quality and value are worth it.

Excellent service, amazing food!
Very clean establishment, clean bathrooms, sparkling floors.
The food was amazing. Big portions. Taco and salsa bar. Alcoholic drinks (like micheladas) and non alcoholic natural drinks.
Big variety of food. Not your traditional mexican restaurant, it’s a little bit more fancy and with different options!
Very yummy desserts!
And very kind amazing servers!

We stopped in and had a very nice launch at Hanna’s Mexican.
I had the taco salad and Mama had the taco plate number two. Diet Coke so that’s a big plus and they also had a chips and salsa bar. The place was very clean and the staff was courteous. I would definitely go back.

Love the atmosphere. Very welcoming upon entering. High ceilings, very spacious and up to date. They have great salsa at the self serve chips and salsa bar. Definitely recommend their hot salsa.

The girl who helped us was extremely friendly! I wish I had gotten her name. It’s hard to find excellent customer service like that these days! Beyond that, my veggie burrito was delicious. It was large, but the perfect size for me. I was very pleased with the shredded beets inside. I can’t wait to go back to get this again, and try other menu items.

If you like healthy veggie burritos, I finally found my favorite! This burrito was stuffed with beets and cabbage with whole pinto beans. It tasted absolutely delicious. Chip and salsa bar too. I’ll be back for sure

The food was good. They service was OK. The atmosphere was too be desired. It’s family owned and the little kids were helping clear the plates from the table and wipe it down. We really liked the chili rileno and the street tacos. Their pinto beans were good. All you can eat tortilla chips and salsa.
