Our family of five came here for dinner and I was the only Chinese raised member who grew up eating home cooked food. First off the service was excellent. The staff was constantly asking if we needed drink refills or anything else. We started with the homemade mini dumplings which took a little while but did taste very good. For main dishes we had the Panda beef, orange chicken (to compare with Panda Express) and the interesting upside down crispy noodles. We ordered the regular portions which I would say feed at least 2 people. I’m guessing the family size would feed about 4. They were slow to bring another dish or forgot it so we cancelled it, but the waiter was very apologetic and gave us a free dessert to compensate. We enjoyed everything. I would say that the food is catered for non Chinese (no chopsticks provided, not too spicy) and the food is what you would find at a very good traditional Chinese American restaurant. It is definitely more refined than what you get at Panda Express but not that much more expensive. I would compare Panda Inn to PF Changs but more traditional in food and atmosphere. We would come here again for sure.

The only thing flatter than the experience was the Diet Coke. Zero carbonation—just lifeless, syrupy sadness in a glass. Calling it a soda is generous; it was essentially sweetened tap water pretending it belonged at a restaurant.

The food didn’t fare any better. The grape tomatoes were soft, moldy, and clearly past the point where they should have been anywhere near a plate, let alone served to a paying customer. It’s hard to take a kitchen seriously when it can’t manage something as basic as produce quality.

The lone bright spot was the server, who was genuinely attentive and professional and did their best to salvage an otherwise embarrassing situation. Unfortunately, good service can’t compensate for flat drinks and spoiled food. This was a quality-control failure from top to bottom, and it shows.

On top of everything else, the price point is indefensible. You’re paying a premium as if this place offers something elevated or distinctive, yet what you actually get is fast-casual food with none of the reliability or value. There’s an apparent disconnect between what they charge and what they deliver.

What makes it worse is that it doesn’t stand out from Panda Express in any meaningful way. Same assembly-line feel, same basic flavor profiles—except Panda is cheaper, more consistent, and at least meets baseline expectations. If you’re going to charge more, there should be a noticeable jump in quality, freshness, or execution. Instead, you’re left wondering why you didn’t just go to Panda and save money, time, and disappointment.

I tried this place again, and it keeps getting more impressive. My wife can’t get enough of their pan-fried noodles, they reach the table perfectly crisp and full of flavor. I went for the sweet ‘n’ tangy shrimp, covered in an ultra-light coat that keeps the meal airy instead of heavy like many other spots. Every plate feels thoughtfully made, and we left fully satisfied. Highly recommended!

We went for our Valentine’s dinner, got in within 10 mins (they said 30 minutes but it was way less). They were quite busy, especially with large parties, but our service was very good, and the food was amazing as always. We had Honey Walnut Shrimp, Orange Chicken, and braised green beans. I also had the chicken corn egg drop soup. The bar drinks are also very good, I recommend the White Gummy Panda and the Panda-n.

I’ve been to Panda Inn before but it had been quite some time. Since I was visiting family in SoCal this was one of the stops we had on our list to go to. Our whole family went for dinner, a party of 7 and they were able to seat us right away.

I will say that the ambiance of the restaurant is very upscale. I love the interior decor! They do offer private rooms, I’m not if theres an extra cost associated with being sat there but it’s a nice option to have if you want a more private, intimate gathering because the regular dining room is very loud. It’s a little hard to have a conversation with your party with how the room echoes so keep that in mind if you plan to dine here.

Service was pretty good. We had 2 waiters apparently but really only one of them came around to get our orders or check in with us.

The dishes are served family style so everyone can share. We ordered regular size for all of our choices and it was more than enough for our party of 7 people. I can’t remember all of the items we ordered but I know that their Phoenix chicken, Panda beef and fried rice were my top favorites from what we did get. The crab rangoon unfortunately was a bit too crabby for my liking, if you like seafood then definitely go for it. But me personally I tend to like more cream cheese than crab. My dad really liked their upside down noodles and my sister loves the panda beef.

Overall Panda Inn is a really nice upscale Chinese restaurant, it definitely comes with the upscale prices though. For our dinner the total bill was around $260. We did order quite a bit though but their dishes are expensive.

I think my favorite part is the chocolate covered fortune cookies they give you at the end. It’s partially coated in white chocolate and sooo delicious. Perfect way to end the pricey meal!

We went to Panda Inn last night to celebrate my mother in law’s birthday and had a party of 17. From the moment we sat down, everything was smooth and well organized, which is not easy with a group that size.

Marcel was incredibly attentive. Our cups were never empty, and he consistently checked in to make sure everything tasted right and that we had what we needed. He made the whole experience feel effortless and welcoming.

The food was great across the board, and the chocolate covered fortune cookie at the end was chef’s kiss. Such a fun and delicious touch to wrap up the night.

Overall, a fantastic experience for a big family celebration. We will definitely be back.

Great restaurant! Been here a few times and does not disappoint. Walnut shrimp is my family’s favorite entree, with the Orange chicken coming in at a close second. The last time we went, Marcell was our waiter and did an amazing job. Very friendly, refilled our drinks at least twice, impeccable service Marcell! We mentioned to him that we loved the fortune cookies so much (dipped in white chocolate!), that we wanted to purchase a bag full. He brought our table another round of cookies on the house. Great place for a family dinner. On the pricey end, but the food is worth it!

The wife, the kids and myself went here for a nice family dinner. We had reservations and were seated right on time ever for being as packed as it was. The service was really good even though all the servers had so much going on. The one who served our table was actually helping the server who was supposed to be helping us, so that was really helpful of her. The food was really, really good. Yes the honey walnut shrimp was very good, it came out nice and hot and the taste was great. One of my boys ordered the short rib and the taste and cut of the meat was really good. The noodles and greens mixed with the juices from the meat was very flavorful. We also had the Mongolian beef and the orange chicken and those too were really nice and tasty dishes. I would definitely recommend this place to any of my friends and family anytime.

My first experience eating here! Beautiful inside. The food started arriving to our table (5 of us) oh my goodness! So much food! Delicious, we were in happy mode the whole time. The waiter who took our order was so attentive but never too much, seemed to read minds as when to refill or come back to the table with what we needed before we even said it. Amazing food . Will definitely recommend and return with friends & my Mom. I can’t believe I have lived in this area all my life and not known about this restaurant (1973)

We almost always try to eat one meal at the Panda Inn when we stay in town to visit family. Everyone we take here seems to enjoy the food they ordered. You can also order the larger family style portions and share with the table.

We normally start off with and order of dumplings and lettuce cups. My wife loves the pan fried noodles. They arrive at the table nice and crisp. I love the sweet and pungent shrimp that is very lightly breaded. The light breading make this great dish even better, because you don’t feel weighted down with all the breading other places use.
