That said, one thing I truly appreciated was that the staff brought out a generous variety of free samples for me to try. It was a thoughtful gesture and showed they were really trying to make the experience enjoyable, which I value. If they could bring the quality of the food up to match the service and hospitality, this place could be great.
The only falter came with dessert. The crepe, filled with a dense caramel sauce, carried an overly manufactured sweetness that felt out of place after such a refined meal. A lighter finish—perhaps raw sugar crystals kissed with lemon zest—would have brought the evening to a brighter close.
Even so, La Cabrera delivers a memorable Miami Spice experience, and I wholeheartedly recommend it for anyone seeking robust flavors, attentive preparation, and exceptional value.
This is especially unfortunate because the restaurant itself is beautiful, with impressive décor and a great atmosphere. However, to truly succeed, the food needs serious improvement. The dishes lacked seasoning entirely, not even basic salt, and overall felt unfinished.
The issues were not limited to a single dish. The skirt steak was specifically recommended to me by two staff members, and I confirmed multiple times that it was tender and not chewy. I was assured it would be soft and tender, but when it arrived, it was the exact opposite, extremely tough, chewy, and not enjoyable at all. My wife ordered the New York steak, which was almost entirely fat and inedible, so we ended up packing it to take home for our dog.
I truly hope the restaurant works more closely with the chef or considers sourcing higher-quality meat, because the space and service have real potential. The food quality simply does not match the rest of the experience
Thank you La Cabrera
I will definitely recommend to friends and family , and we are looking forward to visit again !
The food was on another level!!! Delicious and so so so fresh!!! The Argentinian cut steak is a must, melts in your mouth…. trust me on this! The manager paired our steak with a delicious red wine called yacochuya from the region cafayate valley, Argentina.
He absolutely nailed it!
Wonderful experience and will definitely be back❤️
The waitress arrived late, she was too busy with other tables, she forgot about us many times. When the meat was ready to serve, she didn’t show up on time, the food was on a tray ready to be served.
Not well organized.
The bathroom were all dirty, lack of cleaning.
I don’t used to write reviews, but I took this time because I thought that a restaurant that is very pricey, it should offer an unforgettable experience with all 5 stars.
I will not come back to this branch.
I left tip because of the workers behind the kitchen, not for the waitress, she needs to learn a lot about restaurant ethics.
