The food was hit or miss, the seafood isn’t funny tasting but somehow the sushi is really gross. Some items were very obviously frozen or refrigerated and you can taste it. Strangely enough the small selection of dim sum tasted fresh. The shrimp alfredo was gross, terrible refrigerated flavor. The desserts were pretty good. Service is prompt but they do that weird thing where they watch you like a hawk, this makes service prompt but it feels like policing you once you finish a plate or two. I went at a time that wasn’t very busy, I kept to myself and brought the check before I finished eating. I really hate when that happens. It doesn’t feel relaxing or inviting when waitstaff do that. I arrived during lunch and was seated promptly.
I don’t think this place is very good, and will probably drive the extra 30 minutes to a different buffet next time.
I will say, the coconut shrimp was pretty good.

I recently visited Yummy Buffet & Grill and was impressed with the overall experience. The variety of food is excellent, from sushi and seafood to Mongolian BBQ, classic Chinese dishes, salads, and desserts. Everything I tried was fresh, well-stocked, and hot.
The staff were friendly and attentive, checking in often and clearing plates quickly. The dining area and buffet stations were kept clean, which made the experience even better. For the price, I think it’s a great value considering how many options are available.
If you like frog legs, Yummy Buffet & Grill has it.
Overall, if you’re looking for a wide selection of tasty food at a reasonable price, Yummy Buffet & Grill is definitely worth a visit!

I went here with my parents today. The staff is very friendly and attentive… The place is extremely clean and organized. The food was great and the price is totally reasonable! The only thing I did not like was the coffee. But I happen to be a coffee snob… so that might have just been me. But it’s definitely not a deal breaker…

For me, this is a real discovery. I am happy that now in my city there is a real, high-quality Asian buffet. There are incredibly tasty, varied rolls. The freshest, not frozen fish. A lot of fresh, balanced in taste seafood. The restaurant is incredibly clean. The staff is calm, friendly and professional. I wish these guys big tips, the best seafood suppliers, good salaries for the employees. And that the quality of products and service never drops. Thank you for this place. We are your permanent fans.

This place was very bright and clean. Employees were friendly and helpful. There’s an assortment of dishes. My only disappointment was with the egg rolls. They were mushy inside.

It’s an inexpensive Chinese buffet. Maybe because it’s fairly new, the variety of dishes is impressive for the price. There are plenty of seafood options, and the quality of the sashimi seems better than at other competitors. The interior is also very clean.

The newly opened Yummy Buffet Grill and Sushi in Citrus Heights is next to the Sam’s Club in the same shipping center. When I was there, they were swamped, but the workers and our waitress handled the jobs very well. The service is better than that of most buffet restaurants.
The food tastes good and fresh. They have a good selection of seafood items, and the Mongolian barbecue station does an excellent job. The dining room is good for a buffet. The spaces between tables are good enough. They have many buffet stations. I am very full after I try one or a few items per station.
