Wow wow wow. What a place! Came from Tennessee and had an amazing lunch with friends. Waiter was awesome and friendly and very helpful with menu questions. Food was outstanding!! I’ve never had bacon cheese fries made this perfect anywhere I’ve dined out. I wish i had order 2 more orders haha. The Monte Cristo is truly an unique sandwich!! Roasted turkey, ham, American, and jack cheese on wheat bread, dipped in a tempura batter, deep-fried, and dusted with powdered sugar. The sandwich is traditionally served with raspberry preserves or raspberry chipotle sauce. Wish I loved closer negate this would be my go to spot. Definitely will return again!!

We had an amazing experience at Bubba’s 33! The service was excellent from start to finish. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger with cheesy bacon tater tots, and everything was absolutely delicious and incredibly fresh. The strawberry lemonade with real strawberries was the perfect drink to go with the meal.
Our waitress, Fred, was fantastic—super friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. The manager, Ryan, was also very nice and even gave us a first-time visitor coupon for a free appetizer on our next visit, which was a great surprise. We didn’t have to wait at all, which made the experience even better.
Highly recommend Bubba’s 33! We’ll definitely be back!

Fish and chips were fantastic. $15.99 and it’s 2 pieces of fish with fries and a side. I had the garden rice. Too much food for one meal so brought half of it home. Good service and very friendly.
Will absolutely return because next I wanna try the pizza. I saw it at a neighboring table and it looked amazing.

I recently placed a take-out order from Bubba’s 33 in Gastonia, and unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing from start to finish. My order took over an hour and a half to be completed, which is far beyond a reasonable wait time for take-out.
When I finally received my food, the quality made it clear that it had been sitting out for a while. My nachos arrived cold, with the toppings pushed off to the side, as if they had been assembled and left untouched for at least an hour. My salad wasn’t any better — the lettuce was brown and looked old, making it completely unappetizing.
Overall, this was not the level of freshness or service I expected from Bubba’s 33. I left feeling frustrated and disappointed, especially after such a long wait. I hope the restaurant addresses these issues so future customers don’t experience the same.

My first time coming here was yesterday 2/4/2026 and for the time I actually felt like I was welcomed. Very friendly employees, very knowledgeable, always going around checking on their customers to make sure their drinks were filled, made sure we had our napkins and other utensils.
Never had customer service like this from any store. Today 2-5-2026 I brought my mom here and the exact same thing, nothing to complain about. I also say they do really good job of cleaning tables

I have driven past this restaurant a bunch of times and have always seen their parking lot full, so I was always curious. Today I stopped in, and I was not disappointed. Cynthia provided AMAZING service. One of the Managers was walking around, greeting and checking on customers, which I appreciate. The food and margaritas were delicious!! I had the shotgun shrimp for an appetizer and the salmon for an entree. I really enjoyed it and will definitely come back. Plus, if you work from home as I do and are looking for a change of scene, then this is a great option because they have wifi.

The service is top notch! At least it was in our experience. Our waitress (I believe her name was Harmony… the receipt had a different name so now I’m second guessing) was very nice and always checking on us without being overbearing. She asked if we had ever been there before and then told us they were known for their big burgers and welcomed any questions. She kept our drinks filled and provided great service from start to finish. The manager even stopped by to give us a card for a free appetizer since she heard it was our first visit. She asked how our service was and we told her how great everything had been, and that our waitress deserves a raise. Truly, good service is hard to find anymore so it means that much more when you come across some and this place seems to value that. Probably why it is so popular and always busy.
We ordered the poblano spinach dip while we looked over the menu. The spinach dip was good and they give you a lot, but it was rather thin and runny. It was also supposed to come with salsa but didn’t. Which was fine since we ran out of chips before making it halfway through the dip. Our waitress was nice enough to bring us more, though. Overall, the appetizer was fine but not something I would order again given the other options the menu has to offer.
I ordered the Guacamole Bacon burger and the waitress was not kidding about how large they are! You don’t realize just how big it will be until you see it for yourself. I would’ve been happy with half the size, honestly. I’m not one to usually like big burgers but the menu description of patties made with a blend of bacon and beef caught my eye. I believe these options are made with two patties so I may ask for one on the side next time. I couldn’t open my mouth big enough to take a full bite lol. The flavors were delicious and everything seemed to be made fresh in house, which always takes it up a notch. I chose the fire fries for my side and loved how crispy they were. The spicy seasoning they use definitely has a kick but paired with some house-made ranch, it balances perfectly. Unfortunately, I had to box most of them to go since I couldn’t even finish my burger.
My husband decided on the Chicken Parmesan sandwich and it was also pretty large. He’s usually able to manage a big sandwich but even he had to tap out before it was all said and done. I tried a bite and enjoyed it as well. The pickles seem like they would be out of place when you first read the description but they work so well with the sauce and chicken! The sauce had great flavor and everything seemed fresh. He had the cheese fries that also looked great but I couldn’t find room to try them.
All in all, it was a great meal. The place was packed but there seemed to be plenty of staff to manage it. There’s a lot of seats and parking but nearly every table and parking space was in use, and there was still a line waiting outside. This was somewhat of an odd hour too so I was surprised but after our meal and service, I can see why everyone chooses to eat here. Also, the prices are pretty reasonable considering the amount of food you get. It’s almost cheaper than fast food at this point and much better use of the money, in my opinion.
The only drawback I can really offer is how loud it is. Between the crowds of people and blaring music, this isn’t the place to go when you want a quiet dining experience. And it’s probably not the place to go if you’re looking for something healthy. I’m sure they offer healthier options but let’s face it, if you’re wanting something like that, you’re probably better off choosing a different restaurant. This place is serving up good ol’ American gluttony on plates so it’s definitely not somewhere to go regularly. Unless you’re planning to make good choices, split plates, or take most of it home for another day. But if you’re looking at these pictures and reviews, you probably already know what to expect so have at it, my friend! And ask for Harmony’s section when you get there!

It was our 1st time dining here and it will not be our last! Our steaks were soo tender and seasoned and cooked to perfection! My husband even tipped the cook! Taylor was a delight , no wait to be seated and food arrived quickly. We have no complaints!!!
