Haven’t been to Red Lobster in over 10 years. While browsing at Barnes and Noble nearby, saw the RL and out of curiosity made a reservation for 1 person. Arrived 10 minutes early and ended up waiting about 40 minutes for a table. Ordered 3 maine lobster tails (it is called “Red Lobster” after all), broccoli and fries well done. Lobster was prepared properly, not over done. Broccoli was bitter and starting to yellow and fries were crispy as requested. Complimentary cheese biscuits were warm. 3.5 for food would be more accurate. Service was not good probably because they were understaffed on a Saturday night. 40 degrees out and the AC was on, making the food (and guests) cool quickly. Good effort for a chain restaurant, but definitely better off patronizing a dedicated seafood restaurant nearby. About $90 all in, no drinks.

Our server was wonderful. I believe his name was Miael. It was a busy and he did not get overwhelmed. He was calm and charming. The food was delicious as were the specialty drinks.

Our server Adam was excellent—very knowledgeable about the menu and attentive throughout the meal.
Christine, the hostess, provided great customer service and a warm welcome.
The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was relaxed and inviting. The entire team made the experience enjoyable. Highly recommend!

This was at the Red Lobster in Carle Place, NY on 10/3/25. We had a great dinner of flounder, shrimp, and the special of the day “Fish and Chips.” For dessert a very delicious brownie Sunday! Always great food and the ever reliable Cheddar Bay Biscuits. A thank you to our waiter Misael who was friendly, helpful with the menu, and very attentive to boot. Also our hostess Ms. Alvarez who was welcoming and also looked out for her co- workers. Great staff and a reliable restaurant we will keep coming back to!

Saturday morning, there was no wait. The food is extremely delicious, and after eating it I am extremely full. The waiter was very nice, and the atmosphere is pretty chill with calm music playing. Overall, I had a great dining experience and I highly suggest visiting if you are nearby.

Ms Sophia is professional and extremely attentive to her customers. I was totally impressed after visiting agin for the first time a few weeks ago. She had the same warm reception as usual. I haven’t been to Red Lobster for a long time. Maybe my expectation was too high. I was pretty disappointed. The portion looked kind of sad. The taste was alright. The carbonara and one of the side came with the ultimate feast came after we finished all the other food. I won’t go back again.

My cheddar biscuits were doughey, not fully baked.. I would know personally as I was a team member back in 2000 in California
The mango margarita tasted more like chemicals to be frank.. the mango flavoring was way off.
The tequila in it was garbage, the menu says it’s saulza but it was gross.. and that’s coming from someone who loves most tequila.
The boil bag was insignificant compared to other portions competitors give. It was just barley warm enough, no steam at all at all.
The corn in the bag tasted like some frozen corn that was thawed out and refroze, or some impossible corn ( just weird tasting)
The potatoes tasted like they came from temu for reals…
I will.not be going back after spending close to $100.
If you want a good dining experience with quality food, it’s not here.

3/4/26, 8pm. As soon as we entered the restaurant, we were met by an apathetic and nonchalant host (Carla), who said that there would be a 10-15 minute wait. Another couple came in shortly after and was also told there would be a 10-15 minute wait, they were surprised and asked “may I ask why?” politely. Carla responded passive aggressively “we are understaffed” and waved her hands around. Carla then proceeded to be on her phone the entire time, even as she walked us over to our table. The amount of unprofessionalism and lack of effort from the host was absurd.
Our server (Ty) was wonderful; he apologized for the wait, and was polite and attentive the entire time.
