This place use to be great but not today. The guy who was suppose to greet us had a attitude and the food was just as bad as the attitude. I drove almost a hr. away to come here but won’t be back. They also have several games in the front but all are rigged so nobody can win. Do better, BBB should be notified about the games, it’s ashame to cheat your customers

My husband and I recently visited Golden Corral in Burlington NC, hoping to enjoy a nice dinner. Unfortunately, our experience was incredibly disappointing. When my husband was eating his steak as he cut into his steak in the middle we were shocked to find that the middle was literally raw—far beyond even medium rare. It was unsettling to say the least.
To address the issue, I approached the manager on duty, an African-American man with glasses. Instead of offering an apology or any acknowledgment of the problem, he stood in complete silence, looking at me as if I were the one in the wrong. It was frustrating and unprofessional, leaving me feeling dismissed.
We expected better service and quality from a place like this.

I dont like to make this kind of comments but its a place Ive been visiting since my children were little. It is an excellent place in terms of food and atmosphere. On Sunday I went to eat with my family. The hispanic server who served us was extremely rude. So rude that we avoided needing things so that it dint have to get to our table. Honestly im very patient and my husband the same way, we dont like drama just for small things. At one point our whole table had empty drinks, we notified our waitress and she just kept walking forgetting that we were there eating like any other customer. However with us she was rude but she was at her workplace laughing and flirting with one of the managers of the place. I understand that they are a couple or something like that they seemed but there are always places and times for those flirtations. We were a family of 6 people who paid like every customer to be able to eat and our glasses were empty without drinks while they only focused on flirting with their manager.
The food was excellent, and the other workers as always very helpful. I hope to come back and not have to go through the same thing. Its really a good place, but I understand that there are always times and places for certain things.

On Tuesday, 11/11/25, Veterans Day, my Mom wanted to take my stepdad to Golden Corral since they offered a free meal for Veterans that day. Since they do not drive, I did. Not only did he receive a free meal, but it was so much more. He was given a warm welcome and a sticker that showed he could identify as one of the brave men who protected our country in the U.S. Navy. There were so many people there to celebrate and honor all of the military branches. Because there were just three of us, we had the privilege of sitting with two other veterans, much younger than ours. I was overwhelmed at the respect and honor between them. While my stepdad is generally quiet, it was great to see his interactions and especially the laughter. He was also able to choose from one of the many hats available for purchase.
There were a lot of volunteers, various ages. The young lady who served us was there with her sister and mother, who were also volunteering/working. She did an excellent job. It was such a special evening, I made a point to thank another young lady as well as the Manager. I could write even more, but I would highly recommend this restaurant for their dedication and commitment to our veterans! I’m so glad we were able to be a part of it.

Golden Corral has been a favorite for many years. Haven’t gone much since covid and someone’s illness. My sister treated me today. Even though there were many celebrations going on everyone was on their toes and didn’t miss a best. It was all good and I was too liberal eating from the dessert bar. Hope to return soon. Be blessed. Enjoy the rest of your gift of today

The only reason why I’m writing this review is Claudia or I think that was her name. She’s a bilingual server who brought my table our drinks and the utensils. She always attended to our needs and she always spoke in a lovely tone. Very sweet lady and she deserves a raise asap this place has been a delightful experience all because of her.

I recently visited a Golden Corral with my family, and it brought back memories of when we used to have one in our city. We went to a different location in a different city, but the food and atmosphere were just as good as we remembered.
The buffet had a great variety of options, from salads and soups to meats and sides. I particularly enjoyed the fried chicken, which was crispy and juicy. The macaroni and cheese was also a hit with everyone in our group, and we appreciated that it was made with real cheese.
The desserts were also a highlight. I tried a slice of chocolate cake and a scoop of vanilla ice cream, and both were delicious. My kids loved the soft-serve machine, and they had fun making their own sundaes.
The restaurant was clean and spacious, and the staff were friendly and attentive. We even took some pictures with the family to capture the memories.
Overall, I would definitely recommend Golden Corral for a casual and satisfying meal. It’s a great option for families or groups who want to enjoy a variety of foods without breaking the bank.

Usually they are really good but this time there were a few things off. I love their fish and shrimp. But this time the baked fish was rubbery and the fried fish was tough. Both were tepid. The shrimp was great though as was the steak. I skipped dessert in favor of more fresh shrimp. I was really good

On Tuesday 121/16 my family and I went to the restaurant at 5:30 pm. We were under the impression that kids ate free on Tuesday as we seen it advertised. Well I was charged for my children to eat. I spent a little over 80 dollars for 3 kids and 2 adults to eat. For the money that was paid it was not worth it by any means. We were very disappointed in the food along with the drinks. The steak was very rubbery, food was bland and not appetizing at all and the drinks were flat tasting. I don’t usually complain but when I go out with the kids and they won’t even eat anything due to the food being “nasty” then I have issues and feel the need to complain. I reached out that night after we had got home about the quality of the food and my concerns and have yet to hear anything from anyone in the restaurant or higher.

Actually we were trying to go to another place for breakfast and the wait time was insane. So driving by we saw Golden Corral was open and gave it a try. Not a bad price for the options you get. Orange juice is included in the breakfast and located at the bar. I didn’t know that, I wouldn’t have purchased a fountain drink had I known. Our waitress was working hard. We went around 1030am. We happened to just make the breakfast. They started putting out lunch items around 11am. 2 of us ate for $27. Would have been less had I know OJ was apart of breakfast.
