Did an online order for a combo burrito was not happy at all. Asked for no beans with Asada and basically recieved an all rice burrito. Very little meat, the asada itself was very under seasoned. No flavor at all. Definitely did not match the advertised photos. First time having King Taco at this location, and will be my last. You only get 1 time to serve me a low quality meal. I started to pay an extra $3.50 for pastor, which probably would have helped with the meat to rice ratio, but at the same time could have been more money wasted.

Not a very welcoming environment. If you want to expand your customer base you need to learn how to listen and take orders properly. I spent close to $20 on this amount of food. I don’t recommend it all even if you’re hungry.

Tinga and pastor taco was decent. The asada was not the greatest & the lengua was terrible. Never had king taco before and probably won’t again. The inside of the chicken tamale was tasty but the outside was super thick and dry and bland. The cheese and jalapeño tamale was good and less thick and more moist but still too thick. And to top it off when someone orders from a hotel… you should put napkins and a fork for the tamales… sigh

I didn’t care for the burrito. I felt like it was too small compared to other burritos. The tamales were fine, but I didn’t like the sweet one. I asked for green salsa but got red instead. It’s a new place that I wanted to try. Will I eat here again? Probably, probably not.

When in California I always stop at king taco. The food is always freshly made to order. I know I’ve gained weight from eating all the good stuff they have on the menu. Staff is friendly, upbeat and helpful. Location was very clean and they even had a jukebox which personally I think that was cool. Food is reasonably priced despite inflation and customers don’t mind paying as lines are super long especially during the lunch hour rush. I guess the only negative is they don’t offer online ordering like other establishments. Overall I highly recommend it.

I’m from NYC, so we don’t have King Taco here. My friend who grew up in LA raved about how awesome these were, and now every time I go to LA I have to eat here. The food is sooooo good. The service is pretty quick and they’re friendly.
The prices for the food here are reasonably priced, seasoned perfectly and just overall authentic yummy Mexican food. The tacos are small but filling, and the sopes are probably the best I’ve tried anywhere. The only thing I’ve tried from here that I didn’t necessarily like was the chicharrones tacos.

Always a good place when you’re hungry and it’s late! LOVE the simplicity of the nachos plate with carne asada, and I favor their green sauce.

A little tradional staple of LA in Long Beach, you want tacos late night. They got it, maybe a burrito or quesadilla even better. You can always catch someone putting music on at the jukebox. Love the affordable and great amount of food they give you. Definitely a place to visit.

Authentic Mexican menu here, compared to the Californiation in Northern CA, where fries, guacamole, lettuce, and nacho cheese are often mixed in. Find none of that nonsense here! King Taco lets the grilled meats take center stage and the flavors are delicious, I love them for that. Face it, fat = flavor and this proves the point in a great way. Every taco, burrito, tamale we sampled was a flavor bomb. My favorite is the carne asada, the lime mixed in was a great balance and made every savory bite memorable. The chili rojo was also included in the burrito which definitely makes you sweat! It’s a noticeable difference from hot sauces in NoCal where they’re more watered down and less potent in flavor. I only have 2 nits. The chicken tamale had too much masa and not enough meat. Lastly, the place gets HOT, it would be great if they had a large fan in the dining area to help keep customers cool while they chow on their spicy meals and keep sweat to a minimum 🙂 Overall, King Taco does it right and I appreciate how they keep their style simple and affordable. P.S. Their bathrooms are immaculately clean! Thank you to the staff who keep the place looking it’s best for its customers.
