Went for dinner one evening and got a seat right away. We ordered our drinks and food. We waited forever to get our salads. After asking for them again, the waitress brought them and then informed me that the salads were supposed to come after the appetizers… However after waiting another 20 minutes the appetizers finally came… To our disappointment, the appetizers were mediocre at best. The dinner finally came, and it was decent food… The steak was a little fatty, but fair… Would have given 4 stars, but service was awful…..

Went in for our first visit late afternoon today. Fantastic waitress, so friendly and helpful! Great menu, a variety of food offered. We had the KC skins, potato skins with bits of brisket. So very good! My husband had the beef enchiladas and he enjoyed them as much as his fav Mexican restaurant. I had the chicken fried steak and it was very good! You actually got a real serving of mashed potatoes, so good and the green beans were different and also very good! I’m not big on biscuits of any type but the biscuit they served with my meal was the best biscuit I have ever had anywhere! It was almost like a hot rolls, so perfect. I feel the prices are reasonable and will definitely be going back! We just returned from KC a couple of days ago and we were very disappointed in most the food we had while there! And we are from that area.

This is an incredibly good place to strap on the feed bag. They have a wide selection of foods, and they are well prepared. The staff are all friendly and offer good suggestions on dishes. I had the ribs, honestly if they weren’t the best I’d ever had they were close. Would love to return here and try something else on their menu.

Perfect place to eat! Amazing food…I mean never got a bad meal there! Great portions, great reasonable prices. Great service. Great atmosphere. Casual dress…feel at home there. We go EVERY week for date night. Love the choice of smoking section or not!

Building is old and smells like grandma’s attic. Service fair. Waitress was not very friendly. Acted like she would rather be anywhere but there. I thought the wait was long considering there were maybe 5 other customers there. The food was very very good. We both ate every bite.

Used to be the best place in town, technically it still is (for lack of better options) but the last few times the food was less and less impressive and the waits longer and longer. Bill was expensive which was disheartening considering the quality of food. Might try it one more time, but at that price fast food may be a better option. 85$ tab for a family of 5 which did not included dessert or appetizers

Great food but service is slow. I realize their kitchen is tiny but maybe they should add on or remodel. Also don’t appreciate the smoking part– totally ruins a meal to have smoke floating around.

Great food and environment. Quite a staple in our community and I could not imagine our little town without this restaurant. The only downside is that they still smoke inside of the restuarant and there is no real way to have smoking and non-smoking sides in a smoking restuarant. Be prepared to come out smelling like an ashtray, and the wait for your food can sometimes be a little long.
