We came to this luau because we were staying at the Hilton Vacation Club, in hindsight, it was not one of my smarter moves.
The food selection was limited and what was there weren’t good. My favorite island dish, kuala pork, was very dry and tasteless. The Brussels sprouts were okay, but was slightly undercooked. The rest was pretty forgettable. The drinks were free flowing and the bartenders were friendly. Unfortunately, the Chardonnay that was served was pretty sad.
The entertainment was okay for a small luau, but it wasn’t terribly exciting.
The outdoor area where the luau was held was nice and airy. The view of the sunset was the only highlight of this luau.
I guess time has changed as I remember we used to get to see how the Hawaiians would actually cook a whole pig in the sand on the beach and have adults dancers that got the whole crowd all excited, something similar to what you would see in the trailers of old Hawaii Five-O episodes.

We loved this luau. It was more informal than we expected but the food, especially the pork and the macaroni salad, were delicious. The luau featured a mix of Hawaiian and Tahitian dance along with fire and other exciting elements, including beautiful singing. We loved the family aspect. Highly recommend!
