I got the Triple 20 and green beans. Maybe I’m missing something, but I didn’t taste any special sauce. It was kind of plain. The provolone was the only flavor that stuck out. Meat and coleslaw were light on flavor. The green beans were bland. Didn’t taste like there was any salt.

Small order at the counter BBQ restaurant with limited parking. Restaurant and restrooms were clean and in good repair. Staff was very friendly and professional. The food was really great. Why is it that the best food is at small little places like this one? Very highly recommend.

First time having this and it was so good!! We’re from Texas Born and Raised. This was some good BBQ!! 10/10 Recommend!! And the owners are just so welcoming and true southern hospitality!!

Got chopped brisket sandwich and mac n cheese. Brisket has a weird flavor like they coated it with bbq sauce and then let drip dry. Mac n cheese was worse than Kraft. Actually some of the worst bbq I’ve had in my 66 years.

They came through again! Billy Sims BBQ! Never fails. Tasty, best smelling BBQ in Oklahoma. You can smell it when you walk in this place. Always clean, always nice. Too much crimson for me (I’m from Stillwater), but the BBQ is spot on 100% of the time!

Terrible.
Traveling home out of state and wanted to stop somewhere we could take a break and sit inside. The sign and Google maps stated they were open until 8. We got there at 6:45 and were told that the dining room was closing in 15 minutes. Bummer, but we can eat fast and finish on the road if needed. After we ordered and got our food (only 5 minutes later) we were told that they were closed and couldn’t eat there. No apologies, no understanding that now we have to load our kids back up and find somewhere else to sit and eat, just “naw man, we’re closed”. If they had told us that when we first walked in we would have gone somewhere else. It felt really dishonest to tell us “we’re closing in 15 minutes” but after we ordered and paid were told they were already closed and we could sit at all.
I was hoping the food might be a little redemptive, but the food was also terrible. The brisket and chicken were both dry and lacking flavor, the pulled pork was okay but really fatty, the toast was soggy, and the green beans were straight from a can. Mac and cheese was decent.
The older gentleman working was kind.
Update: my review originally had an owner response asking me to reach out so they could make it right. I reached out through the email they provided and after several exchanges was told “We have sent this to the owner and he has had his team go back through their training.
The manager of the store was supposed to call you about this.” The manager never did call or email me. Bummed that it felt like their way of “making it right” was just brushing it off with telling me they were going to go through their training again. Oh well, disappointing experience and I’m sticking with my original review. Just don’t waste your time or money. $72 down the drain for us.
