People are going to spell our name wrong and they’re definitely going to question the choice. Simplicity applies to all things and burgers are most definitely not an exception. We get right to the point at HAMBRGR, giving our guests the perfect combination of locally sourced ingredients, a wide selection of craft beer, culinary artistry and of course, one of the most memorable experiences one can possibly muster in the enriching restaurant culture sweeping over Hamilton.

Wow what a great fricken burger.
Staff very friendly and excellent service. Took my sister Kathleen there for her 70th birthday lunch as we were young kids and grew up around Ottawa Street back in the 50 and 60s. Many things have changed on Ottawa Street and this is one of the ones that I’ve added great value to Ottawa Street. This is my first time here, but I will be back again and again and again.
Thanks to all the staff for doing an awesome job and keeping us warm on one of the most frigid days out there this winter .

On Friday, February 13th, I visited your restaurant with a group of five people. Unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing. We waited approximately two hours for our food, and when it finally arrived, it was cold, burnt, and not cooked properly.
Our server asked each of us whether we preferred our meals medium or well done. I chose medium; however, my burger was overcooked. Additionally, during the long wait, our server did not check on our table even once.
To make matters worse, the burger cost $20, which made the experience even more frustrating given the poor quality and service. For that price, we expected properly cooked food and attentive service.
Overall, we left feeling very dissatisfied and let down. Based on this experience, we do not plan to return, and we will be sharing our honest experience with others.

Really great experience here this evening.
Service was excellent. My burger was absolutely fantastic, fries were pretty good. Overall a fun experience and will absolutely be coming back next time I’m in Hamilton.

We’d booked at the other location after hearing good feedback from locals. I got a strange phone call and my reservation was changed for four hours later so we decided to just move to another location and try it.
We both got Blazing Saddles, a beer, a cocktail and split the big hunk of cheese/ mozzarella stick made out of a literal 1/4 of a block of cheese.
It works, but it’s just “ok”. Again, they are charging normal restaurant prices for kinda fast food at a rickety table
Not sure why we got seated at the table with a water puddle under it. But we did. The bathroom was absolutely gross. No paper towel and you KNOW a place isn’t meant to be nice when you see that pink soap dispenser.
The server was fine. The food was fine. The ambience? It was cold. I asked questions but felt like it was just not meant to become a new favourite burger place. For the money, there are much nicer options and this wasn’t really anything to rave about.
I know the problem with it is that I paid the same as if I had gone to dinner at a place where there was better food. I was trying something new. I was hungry. I ate it. It did the job but when I looked at the bill I wasn’t thinking it aligned well with what we’d gotten.
It wasn’t that it was too expensive. It was too expensive for what it was.

SJ was our server. They gave us great suggestions and took care of us with a smile! The burger was delish! As were the chicken tenders!

Wasn’t very busy, but our servicer was great! Food was amazing as well! When did they take away the tater tot fondue? One of the things I was looking forward too lol. Know better now! I got the bluecheese green apple burger! So good! Tart n bitter all at once with the crispy onions!

We have always had a wonderful time at HAMBRGR. We always bring our out of town guests here to experience that great burgers. The smashes and unique options are good for all different taste buds!!! 100% recommend the onion rings!!!!

I’m very disappointed in HAMBRGR tonight. We are repeat customers choosing local and will not order again unfortunately. The fries were very underdone and stale. The 2 burgers were supposed to be medium well but were not (one being a kids burger). Nashville chicken burger had no Nashville sauce and just a spot of mayo therefore very dry. OKC burger had very burnt onions. Everything was off. On top of providing a 20% tip on a $50 meal and getting this is just unacceptable.

Awesome and varied menu. I had the Le Royale burger with mushroom aiolio sauce and breaded onions and it was something special! Great service and amazing atmosphere. Only thing was it was a bit pricey but overall quality made it worth it. A+!
