The staff were lovely and the food was wonderful. I forgot to take pictures when it first arrived but I mixed my corn beef hash in with my breakfast bowl and it was great.

I put this place off for quite some time because it always looked so busy. But we went in for breakfast at 9am and while most of the tables were full, we were able to sit down right away. I was even more surprised at how spread out the tables were. It’s roomy enough to have a private conversation. Sorry I got carried away, but the ambience is very important to me.

The food was great. Not just good tasting, but presented nicely too. And…this place has the never-ending cup of coffee. I loved it!

Beepa and Lulus never disappoints! I’m a child at heart so I started with a hot coco and whipped cream on this rainy day, soooo tasty. Then came the meal. As you can see from the pictures it was absolutely delicious!!! My son who usually gets a chocolate chip pancake, went with the bacon and cheese omelette… he got sooo giddy when it showed up to our table!!! As a big family, we are always accommodated, greeted with a smile and leave with full satisfied bellies!! This is a Sunday treat the kids ALWAYS look forward to!

I want to like this place… first time I went for lunch, got what I thought was going to be chicken tenders, but it was basically a giant piece of chicken, breaded and fried…. So I had to cut up my chicken “tenders”. Okay but the breakfast everyone said… tried it second time- was just ehhh. Okay maybe it’s just what I got. Another go… meeting my father-in-law there who had gotten dropped off from the hospital. Was very dizzy from a procedure. Asked to be seated in a booth while he waited for me, told nope, you can’t sit in a booth until your party gets there… tried explaining again how he is very dizzy from a procedure he just had, nope, need to sit on a stool at the bar. I walk in and he tells me what happened and I look around and there’s no line… and a couple open booths. Again- very mediocre breakfast. Just not what it’s cracked up to be… I’ll stick with the Peterborough diner.

I was there for their breakfast, it was pretty busy so that should tell you something. Everything I had was good, the eggs, toast bacon, potatoes, sausage patties, French toast, and a couple bites of my son’s chocolate chip pancakes. Now don’t get me wrong, the pancakes tasted great, and no one loves chocolate better than me, but for pancakes there was far too much chocolate chips (I never thought I’d hear myself say that!), cut down to 50%, otherwise great job!

We have been here a few times now, but not recently. I got a burger with hash browns and an egg (locally sourced!) And my kiddo got the chicken tenders. Both were amazing, cooked perfectly, and delicious. The servings were large and the pricing is great based on the quality and amount. Great family atmosphere, and also offers various seating options (bar area and tables).

The first thing the guest sees as they enter is a full wall assemblage of the US flag, police flag, & firefighter flag with the caption “We proudly support our military & first responders” This affirmation conjures the popular belief that the cop milieu includes purveyors of quality diner fare. Regardless of their politics, the guest expects delicious food & service. But Beepa & Lulu’s is a microcosm of contemporary America generally: more energy & resources seem to have been allocated to the cop-themed decoration (including ornamental cameras), cop-themed conversation between the staff about cop husbands & cop friends, and (if their assertion that they support cops is true)donations to police departments, than the basic functions of a restaurant. It took 10 minutes to be seated, another 15 minutes to get a coffee (mediocre at best) 5 more minutes to place an order, and 20 minutes for 2 eggs, hash, and toast to arrive. The eggs were cold. The toast was soaked in some kind of vegetable oil. The hash was uninspired. The only reason to come to Beepa & Lulu’s is to observe peak police-state-depleted culture. Go somewhere else if you’d like to eat decent food in a hospitable environment. I wrote this whole review in the time it took for the server to pick up and charge my credit card.
