Made a reservation for 3 for the Sunday brunch buffet. We were greeted at the entrance by the host and a pianist playing on a grand piano.

Food was excellent. The scones were warm and soft, not overly dry. My favorite was the prime rib with horseradish cream. The smoked salmon and shrimp cocktail were also memorable. Save room for the bananas foster.

Our server Amanda was attentive and courteous.

Overall this is one of the best brunch meals I’ve ever had. Between bites, we admired the architecture and enjoyed the live music (we heard songs from Wicked and various Disney movies). Would recommend for a date or small group.

Side note: the restaurant offers valet parking, but we found street parking around the corner (free on Sundays).

The Whitney holds a very special place in my heart, filled with personal memories that make every visit truly meaningful. The ambiance is absolutely breathtaking, elegant, warm and timeless, making it the perfect setting for unforgettable moments.

The food is consistently outstanding, beautifully prepared and full of flavour, and the service is nothing short of exceptional. I’ve done private bookings here, and each time the experience has been flawless, seamless, and incredibly well looked after. The attention to detail and genuine care from the team always stand out.

A truly special restaurant that never disappoints and continues to deliver excellence every single time.

Went here for valentine’s day and was expecting a lot more, the menu we had high hopes for, but the beef wellington fell flat and the potatos on the dish tasted like box potatos and couldn’t taste any of the flavors on described on the menu. The swordfish is hard to cook but part of mine was cook and the other part was raw. Along with that the portion size was very small compared to other places I’ve been to before. The atmosphere and the building itself was amazing and a very cool and historic building though.

I had a wonderful brunch with my daughter in December right before Christmas. The food was delicious and the restaurant is beautifully decorated. Be sure to stop by and see the historian on your way out and he will give you a tour and an awesome history on the building.

Derek was our server and he was so kind and informative! He truly went out of his way to make my birthday at the Whitney a memorable experience. I loved that we were free to wander the mansion and the tea service was both delicious and fun. Andrew at concierge was also kind, friendly, and helpful. I had an amazing experience and will absolutely come back for another visit.

Enjoyed a leisurely, delicious lunch of beef Wellington from the Whitney’s 3 course lunch menu. Prepared perfectly! Relaxed dining, live piano music, and just a beautiful historical venue!

Afternoon Tea was wonderful. The tea, Chocolate Strawberry, was tasty. It was so nice to share the experience with my sister. I love having “tea parties”. I will be back!

We had our wedding here almost 2 months ago. The beautiful Tiffany stained glass windows are what drew us to this venue. They also have the possibility of all inclusive. You can get ready, have your ceremony, dinner and reception here. We chose to get ready & have the ceremony here. The environment was beautiful, but we did have a few instances of irritation with the assistant coordinator day-of, although nothing to completely throw off the day. Overall it was a really smooth process and highly recommend for an elopement or small ceremony.
We also hired the pianist Joel Seah. Joel was fantastic. He’s the in-house pianist for the Whitney. I wasn’t picky as to the song choices, so I left it to the professional and was incredibly happy. The music choices were beautiful and it really suited the day. He really tied the whole day together.

Went there for our 10yr anniversary. Everything was great, the food, the service. Even ventured around the historic building. Definitely recommend for a nice fancy dinner that’s not SUPER expensive

What an amazing experience. In a mansion full of history and architectural beauty, we were treated with an amazing selection of delicacies that were prepared to perfection. Portion sizes are to be expected and typical for a high quality meal. It is a bit pricey, but not out of line for the location and level of quality.
