Variety over quality I’d say. Seems like a local place. Don’t go out of your way if you’re passing by. But if you do the fried crab is tasty. Some other stuff is okay. I will probably forget about this place in a few months.

Was not overcrowded on a Tuesday however the buffer price seemed to increase for a 4pm entry. Food was more fresh than the last time I visited. Staff and cashier’s were friendly.

I found this in my food! A big fried furry monkey the past Saturday! When I asked the waitress she just told me to go to the front desk, and when I showed it to the lady she very calmly said not to worry because that was where the mushrooms were grown. And I asked her how was that possible? Didn’t they wash and sort the mushrooms? And she said that since they cooked a lot of the food that it was normal! I definitely don’t know if I’ll visit a Chinese buffet again, much less this one! It seems like dirty food is normal there!

I’ve been to this buffet several times now. The cuisine is average at best, with a basic and limited variety of Chinese-American food! Don’t make the mistake of going between 2:00 – 3:30 pm you will regret it like I did! The meats tasted old and stale from being so long under those heat lamps. The salad area had dried up beets and there wasn’t anything freshly served. The service and waitresses are always very pleasant, however it’s a hit or miss with the quality of edible food! I don’t like writing negative reviews but this was a nasty experience for me…

TRUST ME WHEN I SAY YOUR MONEY IS BEST SPENT ELSEWHERE.

To start this place is disgusting! It smells like dirty mop water and old carpet half the time, the dishes weren’t fully cleaned, and the food IS SUBPAR AT BEST.

I usually try to give a place at least three times to impress me, but this last time I
visited, my table and the table next to me were FREAKING OUT because there was an entire mouse in the dishes WITH the food! Live and crawling around! My LAST time at this restaurant, and it is NOT worth being your first.

I had a very unpleasant experience at United Buffet and will not be returning.

First, you are required to pay at the front when you enter, but there is no clear communication that if you arrive near the lunch-to-dinner transition, you will be charged an additional $5.50. Instead of informing customers upfront, the staff approaches you while you’re actively eating to demand the payment, which is extremely uncomfortable and inappropriate.

During my visit, multiple waitresses hovered around my table throughout the meal, creating a feeling of being watched rather than served. One waitress interrupted me mid-bite to tell me I needed to pay the extra charge immediately instead of allowing me to finish my meal. I found this rude and unprofessional. To make matters worse, she then escalated the situation to a supervisor, who also came to my table, turning a simple billing issue into outright harassment.

The food itself was below average, and the restaurant is very outdated, especially compared to other buffets that are clean, modern, and well-managed. Overall, the atmosphere felt chaotic and poorly run, and the lack of professionalism from staff made the entire experience stressful instead of enjoyable.

A buffet should feel relaxed and welcoming, this one did not. Between the poor communication, constant interruptions, and subpar food quality, this was a disappointing experience from start to finish. I will never return and do not recommend this place.

P.S. It’s a red flag when you don’t see many Asians eating at an Asian buffet. That usually means they know the food quality is bad. I got this information from one of my close Vietnamese friends.

This buffet is disgustingly disgusting. The fried chicken is yellow. Their own staff dont eat the chicken, they ordered from popeyes. The dishes is always dirty, and the place smells like old sushi. The seafood is mushy and isnt fresh. They overcook the beef that aint steak either. not sure what the mystery meat is that they are cooking. They overcharge you with smalll kids. This place should be shut down. I give them zero stars. If your in the area the neighborhood chinese store is wayyyyyy better.

This used to be a really good buffet but not anymore. I really should have taken the lack of crowd as a sign. Everything was old, even the sushi had that crust that it gets from sitting out. If you think that getting a salad is a solution, too bad there’s no salad dressing but you only get oil, two different vinegar, four bottles of hot sauce, two bottles of ketchup, or fish sauce as options. The only thing that’s good is dessert but then again, the ones I tried were still slightly frozen.

First time here. Wanted to try a new place. Cost is reasonable but food is mediocre. Ingredients for hibachi smelled odd after being cooked. Buffalo wings weren’t spicy, sesame balls were too soft and undercooked. Hot and sour soup needed to be more spicy. Kids liked the marshmallows on a stick and the soft serve they had.

Tips hungry people!! Never going back again.
Our group left a tip we thought was fair for the service received, but one of the waitresses came to the table and said it wasn’t enough because our bill was higher. First of all, tips aren’t required, and if someone gives you something, try to be grateful instead of rejecting it and demanding more. There’s no issue with giving more if the service is exceptional. On top of that, the waitress even pointed to the suggested tips side of the receipt, saying the amount shown is REQUIRED to give. Absolutely ridiculous behavior!!
