Now I know why nobody was dinning in that restaurant and it was all empty. We went for some snacks and asked for chicken 65 . But it wasn’t in their menu at all . So we thought it would be like the other restaurant. But after checking out we saw that the bill wasn’t as expected they charged us $20 for a chicken 65 . Where’s in other place it’s marked as 10-12 dollar .
We understand that your business is not going well but that doesn’t mean you should scam people like that . If you don’t have chicken 65 in your menu you can totally say you don’t have it . We are fine there is nothing to lie about . But lying to people to get order is not good even if the price was like other restaurants it was fine but 20 dollar for an items while it’s not even in the menu is totally scamming people . We will surely complain in food dept .
The owner was even talking our back when we wanted to change our salty lassi bcz they have put too much black salt in it . I have never seen salty lassi having black salt .
You can’t run business like this . We were regulars but we are ghosting this restaurant now . The bill wasn’t as expected 53 dollar including tips . But we didn’t expect they will scam us with the chicken 65 ‘s price .

Had a great time on the Sunday lunch buffet. Family friendly. Fast! Need to eat right away they got food ready for you. Will definitely come back. Brought out fresh cooked food to refill the trays frequently. Lovely fried options along with yummy savory favorites.

Preet Palace is truly a hidden gem in the DMV area! Having recently moved to Virginia, I struggled to find decent Indian food without having to go all the way to DC. My brother introduced me to this place, and it was an absolute delight.

We opted for takeout, and while the interiors are simple and unpretentious, the food more than makes up for it. Everything we ordered—Goat Curry, Dal, Paneer Kadhai, and Vegetarian Bhaji—was absolutely delicious, bursting with authentic flavors. Even the rice, with its long grains and perfect texture, stood out.

This small mom-and-pop restaurant serves food that transported me straight to Punjab, India. If you’re craving real, flavorful Indian cuisine, look no further. Highly recommend Preet Palace—you won’t be disappointed!

It’s kinda hidden in the shopping complex but worth finding!!!! Everything was 5 star, my only tiff with atmosphere would be it’s kinda low lighting. However the food, service and cleanliness of the restaurant was great!!!! We sought this place out as it had a 3.8 star but yet was voted as a BEST OF just a year ago. It did not disappoint at all!!!! They host a lunch Buffett on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Monday through Thursday they offer platters, Vegetarian or with Meat. With tip you are looking at around $17-$20 per person. They served a nice little dessert with the meal. Flavors were GREAT in all the food that we were served!!!!

We were the first diners to walk in, nervous that the empty dining room was a sign that we should eat elsewhere. But we were greeted warmly and served plate after plate of delicious comfort food. Each dish was freshly fired, seasoned perfectly, and rich in flavor. We enjoyed the vegetarian thali, samosas, fish pakora, and many baskets of warm bread and Raita. I am excited to come back and explore their menu!

This place deserves much higher ratings! The gentleman who served us was kind and helpful in making our selections and saved me from ordering too spicy. The Samosa Chat appetizer had a good presentation, the spices and slighty sweet savory flavor was delicious. The chick peas were cooked just right, not too hard or soft. The rice that came with our entrees was so good alone I didnt want to mix it with my curry. It had whole cloves and other whole spices/seasoning, a buttery flavor, and light and fluffy texture. We had the Aloo Paratha, you could actually taste the whole wheat bread flavor with a hint of toastiness. We also ordered Punjabi Kadi (veggie fritters in yogurt curry), Chicken Korma, Mango Lassi and Chai. It was all good.

I’ve been forced to go here every year by random uncles and aunties since I moved to the NOVA area, and every year it continues to disappoint me more and more.

The management is archaic, the restaurant is dirty, and the food is a disgrace to Indian cuisine. They keep tubs of food sitting out all day, then scoop the same watery, flavorless slop onto plates as if it’s freshly made. Every time, I’ve left with stomach problems that linger for nearly a week.

Their so-called gravies are nothing but watered-down mixtures, the sabzis are bland and lifeless, and the naan tastes like cardboard. The food has no authenticity, no spice, no soul, just an insult to what Indian food should be. The customer service is equally terrible, with staff acting as if they’re doing you a favor by acknowledging you at all.

It’s terrible that they even call this “Indian food.” This place gives us a bad name in the community, and it’s shocking that they’re still in business. Centreville deserves better… much better than Preet Palace..

This review is for the lunch buffet. Excellent price. It was less than $13 including tax. It might have even been less than $12 including tax, but I don’t remember.
The food tasted good. I liked the butter chicken and naan. I also liked how the tandoori chicken was deboned.
I went with my friend at around 12:45. The food was warm. They didn’t run out of food in the trays. I will say it took maybe 4 minutes or so for them to bring us a new basket of naan. But 4 minutes isn’t that long.
I noted some bad reviews about service. I acknowledge that they were always not smiling. But oh well, you give me good food at nice prices and I can forgive that.

Update: I went again on a Friday lunch. The selection was very limited. There were two chicken dishes: butter chicken and tandoori. The butter chicken had many stretchy dark meat pieces, which disappointed me. It’s $11.65 including tax. The vegetables and samosas are still good. I’d give that 3 stars, so to average out my last experience, I’ll go with 4 stars.

10/25/2023- 6:30pm I ordered aloo tikki, fish pakora & goat curry. I got the aloo tikki which was over fried and tasted bland first, than the fish pakora which again tasted bland, but I was surprised by seeing a roach in my food, in plain site under the onions. I immediately asked for the goat to be packed for take away, and asked for the bill. I still tipped, the goat I just gave away. Awful place, horrible food and disgusting ambience, health department should take a look at this place

Their Fri/Sat/Sun lunch buffet is delicious and a great value! Staff is kind and attentive. And ask for bhatura instead of naan, you won’t be sorry!
