We understand that your business is not going well but that doesn’t mean you should scam people like that . If you don’t have chicken 65 in your menu you can totally say you don’t have it . We are fine there is nothing to lie about . But lying to people to get order is not good even if the price was like other restaurants it was fine but 20 dollar for an items while it’s not even in the menu is totally scamming people . We will surely complain in food dept .
The owner was even talking our back when we wanted to change our salty lassi bcz they have put too much black salt in it . I have never seen salty lassi having black salt .
You can’t run business like this . We were regulars but we are ghosting this restaurant now . The bill wasn’t as expected 53 dollar including tips . But we didn’t expect they will scam us with the chicken 65 ‘s price .
We opted for takeout, and while the interiors are simple and unpretentious, the food more than makes up for it. Everything we ordered—Goat Curry, Dal, Paneer Kadhai, and Vegetarian Bhaji—was absolutely delicious, bursting with authentic flavors. Even the rice, with its long grains and perfect texture, stood out.
This small mom-and-pop restaurant serves food that transported me straight to Punjab, India. If you’re craving real, flavorful Indian cuisine, look no further. Highly recommend Preet Palace—you won’t be disappointed!
The management is archaic, the restaurant is dirty, and the food is a disgrace to Indian cuisine. They keep tubs of food sitting out all day, then scoop the same watery, flavorless slop onto plates as if it’s freshly made. Every time, I’ve left with stomach problems that linger for nearly a week.
Their so-called gravies are nothing but watered-down mixtures, the sabzis are bland and lifeless, and the naan tastes like cardboard. The food has no authenticity, no spice, no soul, just an insult to what Indian food should be. The customer service is equally terrible, with staff acting as if they’re doing you a favor by acknowledging you at all.
It’s terrible that they even call this “Indian food.” This place gives us a bad name in the community, and it’s shocking that they’re still in business. Centreville deserves better… much better than Preet Palace..
The food tasted good. I liked the butter chicken and naan. I also liked how the tandoori chicken was deboned.
I went with my friend at around 12:45. The food was warm. They didn’t run out of food in the trays. I will say it took maybe 4 minutes or so for them to bring us a new basket of naan. But 4 minutes isn’t that long.
I noted some bad reviews about service. I acknowledge that they were always not smiling. But oh well, you give me good food at nice prices and I can forgive that.
Update: I went again on a Friday lunch. The selection was very limited. There were two chicken dishes: butter chicken and tandoori. The butter chicken had many stretchy dark meat pieces, which disappointed me. It’s $11.65 including tax. The vegetables and samosas are still good. I’d give that 3 stars, so to average out my last experience, I’ll go with 4 stars.
