Great burgers at reasonable prices, but most importantly, the best garlic fries I have ever had! A light coating to the fries keeps them crispy, and garlic flavor in every bite! They are a labor of love, so they only come in a larger, shareable portion, so be warned!
Burgers come on deliciously soft potato buns and the whole staff is incredibly friendly. The ugly sauce is dialed in perfectly, and I can’t imagine anyone being disappointed by the food or staff here. Very glad to have such a great establishment in Mountlake Terrace!

Let’s start with, we will go back. Had the bacon burger and that may not be my thing from here, the bacon is very crisp and while I like the crunch it adds, not a fan of the texture. If you like crispy bacon your burger though you should try it. I will try a different burger next time. The milkshakes were good and thick, taste wise I think the strawberry was better than the chocolate, could use a blast of whip cream, but even without they are good. My wife enjoyed the pickle chips, I loved the fries, a little on the salty side but some of them best seasoned fries that I have had. The cheese sticks were a bit bland compared to the rest of the food, the breading could use something. The onion rings though, some of the best we have had in a long time. Atmosphere wise I love the wood accents in the little seating area and the music was fun and upbeat. One of the staff was singing along to the music and they were all smiles behind the counter and looked to be having fun.

My family really likes a good burger, so we are pretty picky. Ugly Burger makes a super tasty burger, packing a ton of flavor into a classic cheeseburger. I got the bacon cheeseburger and the bacon was the perfect level of crispy, the patty was nicely charred, grilled onions were a nice touch of added flavor, and the Ugly sauce was spot on. The chocolate shake was delicious and the onion rings were excellently seasoned. This is probably the best burger spot around Shoreline and Edmonds.

Stopped in to support this new local, family-run spot and was really impressed. You can tell there’s real passion behind what they’re building. The burger was easily one of the best I’ve had in a long time great flavor, cooked perfectly, and plenty of different options to choose from.
It’s also smart that they offer fish and chips and chicken tenders, so there’s something for everyone. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and you can feel the pride they have in the place.
Excited to see this business grow. I’ll definitely be back!

I was skeptical because of the name, thought it was just another smashburger type place.
I live very close and I work very close to this spot, drive by it often.
I finally gave it a try, and I was very impressed! very happy… the burger was delicious, the price point was extremely reasonable. I just all in all, had a great lunch experience and I would highly recommend to anyone.

The burgers were really good! We ordered the Ugly Burger, Cheeseburger and Fried Pickles (which were stellar). Not a lot of places get well done right. It wasn’t dried out like everyone else does to a well done burger. Also, I found it refreshing that they were honest about the wait time being 30 minutes and they were right on the dot with it. Because they were honest I was able to run a couple quick errands instead of just sitting there and waiting because they lied and said 10 minutes. Overall I would highly recommend Ugly Burger. I went around 7pm and they were SLAMMED so plan accordingly.

Dined in twice. Very clean. Very good fries, fried pickles and rings. Great hand-dipped milkshakes. Wonderful burgers! (Haven’t done take out or delivery cuz don’t live far). Recommend with 5 stars!
