I really enjoy supporting local businesses and had heard great things about this shop, so I’ve stopped in a few times to try it out. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, but my experiences have been a bit mixed.
On my first visit, it took about 15 minutes just to place an order and another 15 minutes for the drinks to come out. The drink itself ended up having so much milk that it was almost white in color and this was an iced black coffee.
The second time, my cup had quite a bit of foam, so there wasn’t much coffee in it. On my most recent visit, they were out of espresso on a Saturday morning and only had a couple of other options available. The drink I tried instead actually turned out pretty good considering it wasn’t my usual choice.
One thing I did notice across visits was that the service can move a bit slowly, especially when it gets busy. The staff are very friendly and enjoy chatting with customers, which is nice to see, but it can make the line move a little slower when people are waiting to order.
A small suggestion would also be to bring a little more upbeat energy to the music on weekend mornings — it might add to the lively coffee shop vibe many people look for.
Overall, I love seeing local spots like this in the community and hope they continue to grow. A little attention to drink consistency and wait times could make the experience even better.

Coffee was so good! I got a coconut chocolate latte and my friend got a peanut butter latte. We walked in at 2:30 when they close (which we didn’t realize) and Wendy gave us the warmest welcome. She could have easily told us she was closing up and turned us away, but instead she extended the kindest hospitality and yummiest coffees. We can’t wait to come back!

We have been here a few times and love that it is located in our neighborhood! We have always been met with a sweet greeting and warmth from the time we walk until we leave. The coffee is great! Have only tried the cinnamon roll and it was good. Will definitely be trying other food items in the future. Love the vibe here!

I wanted to love this place given we live in Palencia. Very cute spot. Good space. Nice owners. Unfortunately our cappuccinos were very bitter. The food service was VERY slow. We ordered two toast dishes. Took 20 minutes plus. And both were soggy and sub par for the price. Should have at least been on sourdough to hold up to the toppings. I hope they make it, but man lots of ops for improvement unfortunately.

I was getting my hair cut across the street at cornerstone barbers who I highly recommend and my wife was with me. We were saying, as we were pulling up to cornerstone I wish there was a place in palencia to get breakfast.
Then, we saw this cafe and my wife got us sausage, egg and cheese on everything bagels and they were great. She also got a brownie which was very good.

“Good Karma Coffee Cafe” is a must-visit spot! The staff is incredibly friendly, and their drinks are top-notch. I especially love their iced coffee lattes and their hummingbird cake is absolutely delicious. Definitely worth checking out!
