If you are not super health conscious you are absolutely going to love this spot. Mind you the flavour here are actually authentic Chinese. So expect somewhat bland flavour but has many things going on but in a subtle way.
The place is amazing value for money. We are a lot like really many items but just over $110 for 6 adults.
The beans were truly amazing. I was a little disappointed with Dan Dan noodles. I expected better. The cauliflower was excellent and so was the fried rice. The tofu tom houn soup were average at best.
Overall a good mix and variety. The atmosphere is below average – not the best looking place. So ambience is pretty average.
I went on Saturday night – the order took really long time ~45-50 minutes. I think they can do better than that.

Ordered a bunch of vegetarian tofu dishes, and two of them (home style tofu & sauteed peppers with tofu) were replaced by tofu mixed with gristly textured meat scraps in a brown sauce. Both were missing the veggies and not vegetarian. Do not order here if you want to actually get what you ordered & especially if you are vegan / vegetarian. 🙁
It also took almost 2 hours for the food to be ready to be picked up.

Great little place serving excellent Sichuan cuisine in a college town. Not only do they have the Sichuan cuisine down, but they have several fusion dishes which are delicious. Service is extremely quick and friendly. This has become a staple place to go to when visiting Illinois State University.

Location is great. The serving lady get all our requirements and she also recommend food based on our taste. The food that comes out is exactly what we asked for.
This is one of the best restaurants in Bloomington.

So nice to have a sit down Chinese restaurant in town with SUCH good food!! We got several small dishes so we could try more options, and they were all really flavorful and tasty. The crispy chicken is as good as it looks. Somehow it was still really light! Will return!

5 stars! Best customer service! I love this, my daughter adores your sweet and sour sauce. She says the sauces are usually sweet, but this is sour on end of bite! I tried itand got excited and said this taste like the sauce they make in England(where I’m from) and its delicious. My garlic chicken’s delightful and bursting with flavor. Thank you my new sweet go to! You make my cravings satisfied! ❤❤❤ Thank you for providing a delicious soul warming dishes.

We tried this because we haven’t……..and shame on us!! This was a fantastic place. The service was just awesome. The seating was mom-n-pop……noting special but perfect for a meal. Food was fresh and fun. They will make things at any spice level……I was in the 3-4 range it the dumplings and fire pan chicken was just perfect. We are definitely going back to try more things.

The food is incredible. When they say spicy, they aren’t joking. The spicy tofu was hotter than any other Thai or Chinese dish I have experienced. Loved the peanut dumplings, the sauce was good and there was a big drizzle of actual peanut butter. The dumplings were a really good size and we actually saved some for leftovers. Edit to add more pics: The eggplant tofu with garlic sauce was amazing! I absolutely loved the spicy garlic cucumber and peanut salad (a cold salad). The black pepper tofu wasn’t spicy, if you need a cooler dish, and my husband likes the general tso’s a lot. This restaurant is consistently the best and freshest Chinese food in town.

Loved the food! We had Singapore mei fun noodles with chicken, crab Rangoon and crispy fried chicken with rice. You can dine in or get to go. We dined in.
We parked in the ramp Amtrak station/city hall.
They have a tv in dining area so you can see what some dishes look like.

The service was fine and some of the food was pretty good (like the pot stickers). But some just wasn’t. The braised beef was ok and the fried rice simply wasn’t fried rice (they just added soy sauce to white rice with a couple tiny pieces of egg).
