When we opened our doors on Indy’s north side in 2014, we were focused on two things. Craft beer on tap, and damn good food. We came in with a very large group yesterday night and got seated pretty quickly. Our server was stretched quite thin since it had gotten very busy. She was still very friendly and did such a great job! Everyone was commenting on how good their meals were. The Creole Pasta was easily one of the best pasta dishes I’ve ever had and the kids loved the Daddy Mac.

Each time I go here the food is amazing and the staff is super friendly.
Lamb chops were flavorful and cooked perfectly. They are a thinner cut then some other restaurants, but for the price it’s definitely worth it.
Not a fan of having to use my phone to see the bar menu but every drink I’ve had there has been fabulous.

Wednesday night bingo night for free – started just after 7p finished by 8p
Food and drinks were great – highly recommend the fried cheese.
Friendly service – our waitress was awesome and checked in multiple times during bingo without rushing or distracting us.

This was our first time at District Tap, and we were very impressed!! We ordered the fried salmon & grilled salmon, both really good with the Asian dipping sauce (you have to ask for it). The Mai tacos were so flavorful with the avocado sauce on them, and I got the Asian chicken from the main menu and it was so good, large portion and very flavorful! Great selection of beers, and an over abundance of TVs! Our server was nice, but seemed busy so we had to wait for our things for long periods of time.
We went Sunday afternoon and it wasn’t just at all, but it is kind of loud if you are wanting to have lots of conversations with others. Will definitely be coming back!

The District Tap is a wonderful sport’s bar in the Heart of downtown Indianapolis that has exceptional appetizers (Chicken Wings, Nachos) , lunch and dinner options, and a variety of beverage options (soft drinks, adult beers/spirits, etc) that cater to the sport’s goers attending a Colts/Pacers game, an NCAA Basketball tournament, and the Big 10 Football Championship game. The staff does an excellent job of addressing customers specific food needs and drink options!

Great spot for both lunch and dinner with plenty of menu choices for any appetite. The kitchen service can be hit or miss depending on the time of day and volume of customers. That being said, the management has done right by us and compensated when we’ve been negatively impacted. Table service is wonderful and very friendly. We love the lively atmosphere, large variety of beers on tap, and family friendly options. The portions are large and meals could be shared. Pricing is fair and of good value for the overall quantity and quality.

-firecracker shrimp (great portion, just enough kick of sweet/spice with crunch slaw to balance)
-guacamole
-chicken nachos (flavorful toppings but the chips taste very cheap and out of a commercial sized great value bag— could use a refresh/ swap on the chips)
-wedge salad (great house made ranch) with blackened salmon added
-TDT chicken tenders (large cut chicken breast tenders with a great light crunchy batter)
-buffalo chicken wrap
-TDT club sandwich
-French onion soup
-sides: French fries (well seasoned), sweet potato fries, bacon wrapped asparagus, Mac and cheese

We were visiting for a conference and we hit the jackpot. The food was absolutely incredible. Literally — everything we ordered was spot on and amazing. We shared a lot of the items we ordered and take note – it was phenomenal! The appetizers as seen in the pictures were so good! The steak and burger tasted to perfection. It had a ton on tap, but the food is where it is at!
