Friendly service, great prices! These pancakes were the fluffiest I’ve ever had. I can tell the pancakes were made from scratch instead of a box. We had a sweet attentive waitress.

Our waitress was the sweetest! She was very kind and attentive. They have a great selection of teas. If I could give 5 stars for that alone, I would. HOWEVER THERE WAS THE PROBLEM OF THE FOOD. Two of us ordered scrambled eggs. They were stirred as they were cooked, not beaten in a bowl and then cooked. Moreover, they were shiny and greasy. I ordered home fries. They looked amazing so i was shocked when I tasted them. There was not a single hint of any type of seasoning on them. All you could taste was oil and potato that seemed like they had been stored in water in order to keep them from browning. I ordered hash browns which came straight from a can and some parts were crispy and some parts looked like dog food. Another person in our party ordered grilled turkey and cheese. The outside of the bread looked nicely toasted but it seems as if they put the cheese and the turkey on after toasting the bread because the cheese just look like two slices still unmelted. The tomato soup was steaming yet somehow still cold which probably means they warmed it up in the microwave. Overall, it was a bafflingly unimpressive meal, most of which remained uneaten. Honestly everyone was so sweet that I would never have complained while I was there. Our waitress bent over backwards to make sure everything was what we ordered. It seems like a family owned restaurant so we would have paid for our food just to support them no matter the taste. And perhaps had we ordered different food, it would have been amazing. For those of us used to a great southern breakfast, i just wanted this to be a caveat.

This is the cutest little place! Service was great. Sweet tea was wonderful. I had the ham & Swiss omelette, it was really good. The home fries could’ve been softer (that’s why 4/5 stars) but they still tasted great! We will definitely be back.

Our waitress was absolutely amazing, Sophie if I remember correctly. The food was so good. Tasted like they had my mom in the kitchen. The theme of the bee’s everywhere was so cute. Just a little hole in the wall by a gas station and hotels that ended up making me and my husband go back twice in 3 days. Worth it. If you get a chance, try it. Wish I lived closer, I would be a regular.

Honey Bee cafe: a little breakfast/lunch joint that doesn’t offer many “honey” themed things but does, oddly, offer many Greek dishes like Chicken souvlaki and baklava. The menu for breakfast is mostly eggs with meat or omelets, Belgian waffles, and pancakes.
