The food is absolutely fantastic! Very nicely balanced flavors and nothing out of place. The flavors were also well balanced and somewhat bold without being overpowering.

Hate doing what I had to do, i always tip well, but came in for dinner and a few drinks alone after a rough couple of weeks, i meen real real bad, unfortunately I was ignored at the bar, it was the wrong night for that to happen to me, first time I came in a couple months ago I had a great bartender, unfortunately not tonight, you never know how rough of a time somebody could be going through, and a simple smile, and check in on them once or twice goes along way for somebody beating them selfs up mentally. After sitting there empty glasses and plates, I had to beg someone for my tab, pretty sure I was invisible and could have left and no one would have noticed.

We had an awkward experience when we last went out for dinner here- the staff was watching the TV right above my head, which made me feel like they were staring at my face the whole time- I didn’t care for that. And when we’d try to wave them down to get their attention, they wouldn’t notice, because they were watching the TV.
Then, the staff started cleaning up the restaurant 45 minutes before closing. They were spraying heavy cleaners, making it difficult to stay and enjoy the rest of our meal. We were all feeling pretty awkward about the situation, as we were hoping to order another round of margaritas, and some dessert. It seems silly to complain about the smell of cleaners, but it was so strong and really did effectively drive us out of there. It was just a bad enough experience where all 7 of us decided we didn’t appreciate it, and aren’t interested in scheduling another meet up there, because we’re afraid it may happen again- Not our idea of a good time.
Also, every visit prior to and including this one, we had the awkward experience of at least one of us, but sometimes 3 or 4 of us having our orders wrong. Wrong orders seem to be their signature move. It’s pretty odd that they can’t get them right. And that makes for a negative experience in and if itself every time.
The food is pretty good though. (I’d love to try what I’ve actually offered, sometime )

¡Ecxelente! we received excellent service at Casa Hernandez. They have several people working together to serve customers, and they do very well. The food is amazing! The papas locos, choripollo and quesabirria tacos are all delicious choices. We hope to return when we are in the area again. ¡Muchas gracias!

The food was very good for this area of the world. Meat was seasoned nicely and cooked to perfection. The chips and queso left a little to be desired but still haven’t found that perfect queso around here.
The service was good, the waiter was friendly and fast.
The atmosphere was the downfall. Wasn’t bad but a small cafeteria and thigh it was clean, somewhat uninviting. I hear they are opening in Saint Marys in the near future. Looking forward to trying them out there.

The food was amazing and we definitely got what we paid for. Fast and friendly service, we did go during a slow time but we ordered food to go during a rush and still managed to get it in 15 minutes. UPDATE: My husband and I have been able to go in for a sit down a couple times now. The food was amazing and fast as ever. The employees where very helpful and courteous.

We went there when it first opened it was GREAT! So we were traveling through St Mary’s today and decided to stop again and what a MISTAKE! First off the Website needs to be updated prices were old from the prices on menu, then they brought out complementary chips and salsa and hubby asked for the hotter salsa and little did we know we were charged $3 for 1/4 cup didn’t know till we got our bill how many other add ons they racked on a meal that should have been maximum 25$ we ended up pay$37 they added $9 for cheese sauce over our terrible Chili Rellanos they were cold in the middle …. Anyway last time going there . The only thing I can say is restaurant was clean
