Went to celebrate a friend’s birthday and from the moment I entered this place just felt classy. Our server was Kateshia who’s service was ABSOLUTELY OUTSTANDING STUPENDOUS AND IMPECCABLE because our party consisted twelve (12) people and she got everyone’s order correct including ALL drinks and appetizers, my food was perfectly prepared and I really enjoyed myself and I will return to this establishment and I highly recommend it to anyone who wants a good meal and the best customer service you can get….. OH and they gave me a military discount as well.

I find the establishment’s atmosphere to be exceedingly inviting, with the waitstaff providing exceptional service that surpasses expectations. The cuisine is truly delectable. Our main course began with the serving of bread paired with Cinnamon butter, which proved to be an excellent accompaniment. Ultimately, our meal consisted of our preferred options, including New York steak and rib eye, served with broccoli and mashed potatoes. Overall, we were thoroughly satisfied with our dining experience. The waiter’s exceptional attentiveness, friendliness, and courtesy were particularly appreciated. I highly recommend this A+ restaurant to my family and friends .

The steaks were cooked perfectly—juicy, flavorful, and seasoned just right. The baked potatoes were huge and loaded with all the good stuff, making the meal even more satisfying. You can really tell they take pride in the quality and presentation of their food.
What truly made the night stand out was our waitress, Monica. She was absolutely fantastic—friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed without ever feeling rushed. Her great attitude and professionalism really added to the overall experience.

Had a great experience here today. Our server was very friendly and attentive. There was no wait getting in today and was great for taking my wife to eat for Mother’s Day. I had the NY Strip cooked medium rare, I think it was actually cooked medium, but still was delicious. We had the rattler bites to start and they were very good and the jalapeños were spicy enough. My wife had some salmon and asparagus, which she loved (I’m good with shrimp but not a super fan of fish).

Easily one of my favorite STEAK HOUSE EVER! Great food, amazing flavor combinations. Servers are fun! Bus boy was super sweet! Host seemed annoyed or possibly tiered, it’s understandable, it was truly a busy night, but a few of the servers helped the host out. Over all great experience! Can’t wait to go back! Next time I go, I will take pictures.

Wanted a steak for dinner and went to Saltgrass expecting a decent steak. Not only were we pleased with the food (steak) but the service was something you’d expect at a 5 Star restaurant.
SERVICE:
Our server’s name was Melrose, who started a month and recently moved from Indiana. She asked out names, remembered and greeted us each time she came to the table. She was attentive and knowledgable with the items on the menu.
FOOD:
We received our food, very quickly, I ordered the “Oscar Filet Mignon” with fried asparagus, topped with crab meat, capers and green onion. My husband ordered a tbone with smoky mac and cheese, which was absolutely delicious.
I also had a white cosmo, which was amazing!
If you’re ever in Cedar Hill, stop by Saltgrass and ask for Meltose!

I went for my 21st birthday on February 8th around 8:30pm I believe. The waitress we had was very well put together and felt very competent when asking what we wanted and answering questions. I Initially ordered a watermelon fresca for my first drink, wasnt a fan of the mint, and she took it back and off the bill ( !) I got a frozen strawberry margarita which was much more friendly. We ordered a cheescake and she even put a candle on it and lit it up! The salmon I had was amazing, the steak my sisters had look so good, just good good good. Thank you Saltgrass for an amazing experience for my 21st.

We recently visited Saltgrass, and while the experience had its highs, there were also some disappointments. The steak was cooked to perfection, and all the sides were absolutely delicious. However, the salmon was undercooked, and the grilled chicken was so gamey I couldn’t finish it. Additionally, the salad orders were incorrect, though we were able to work it out.
The service, on the other hand, was exceptional. Our server was kind, attentive, and very helpful. A particularly touching moment was when another server remembered our family from last year after we had recently lost my father. They came over to check on us, which was incredibly thoughtful and meaningful.
Overall, while the food didn’t meet the usual standards this time, the front-of-house team went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and cared for.
