Have not been to a DQ in 40 years since living in Texas. Was excited to see the new locations to get an awesome burger.
Could not have been more disappointed with the burgers. It is called a Grill & Chill but there is no grill. The panties were pre-cooked and frozen then heated up at the restaraunt. The employee even told us all about the process.
I did not expect the amazing Super Beltbuster Burger from DQ in Texas, but I did expect more than a microwaved gas station quality burger.
Service was good. Place was clean.
Will not be back. Ever.

Highly disappointed in the service at this place. All I wanted was cheese curds and a shake. After a long work day I was excited that I was going to make it before yall closed at 9:30. Arrived at 9:15 and was told the kitchen is closed but they are serving ice cream still.
I asked the girl, name on my receipt is Milagro, why the kitchen was closed before closing time. She gave me a poor excuse of “it takes 15 minutes for the grill to cool down for us to clean it”. So yall stop serving food before the actual closing time? So yall don’t close at 9:30? You guys close earlier than that. To me that’s lazy. I worked in the food industry before and I know how it is.
NEVER came across this issue before. It was clear that the workers tonight were being pure lazy and didn’t wanna stay longer than they had to. Unfortunately that comes with closing a food place. Gotta stay even after closing hours to clean up. Don’t like it then choose a different shift.

Do not trust ice cream cake from here. Ours was extremely stale and tasted freezer burned. They was no sell date on box either. We got refund by taking cake back but the birthday girl was very upset and i kinda ruined the party. The three young girls behind the counter were having too much fun talking to each other the day we bought it to help us. They could’ve even write happy birthday on it. Will never go back.

Excellent dairy queen. The crew is great and very patient and willing to explain things to customers not familiar with dairy queen. Like I was. I spent so much time in dairy Queen this week on vacation that I’m sure they’re responsible for 15 lb I have regained. Strongly recommend this door to all persons!!(Unless you’re dieting)!!

They need to invest in some seating inside for the wait on your food. Yep it’s myrtle beach but the temp goes down enough to be cold so image chairs for customers wouldn’t be a plus! Great food and ice cream tho

Good location close to where we were staying. Our food was served quick and warm. Friendly staff, very helpful. No indoor dining area, but they do offer a small outdoor dining option. Plan on spending $15-$25 for 2 people.

Visit was 7 Sep 2025. We always stop at this location for our ice cream. Don’t know why it rates low. The ice cream is great. Never got actual food, but maybe that is it. Place is clean & staff are pleasant. However, will continue getting my ice cream from here. Sat outside, so I guess you can say this is takeout.

This location has worst employees very rude disrespectful. Asked to speak to management and the girl said she was management but refused to give me her name. They really need better employees representing dairy queen this girl was screaming and cussing refused to refund my money at first. Will never recommend this location to anyone or return until they fire her. Looking at others reviews I’m not the only one concerned with customer service at this location. The new Dairy Queen in North Myrtle Beach is a great addition to the area. The facilities are clean and well-maintained, the food is delicious, and the employees are friendly and helpful. However, there is no indoor seating or restroom, which is a bit of a drawback.
I visited the Dairy Queen on a recent Saturday afternoon. The place was packed, but the staff was quick and efficient in getting our food to us. We ordered a Blizzard, a chicken strip basket, and a large order of fries. Everything was hot and fresh, and the Blizzard was especially good.
The only downside to the Dairy Queen is that there is no indoor seating or restroom. This is a bit of a problem if you’re visiting with small children or if you need to use the restroom. However, the staff was kind enough to let us use the restroom at the adjacent gas station.
Overall, I had a great experience at the new Dairy Queen in North Myrtle Beach. The food is delicious, the staff is friendly, and the prices are reasonable. If you’re looking for a quick and delicious meal, I highly recommend checking it out.

Stopped by the Dairy Queen in downtown Myrtle Beach during a busy time, and I was so impressed. Kat was stellar! She was kind, polite, and knowledgeable. She handled the rush with a smile and made sure everything was perfect. The place was very clean, which I really appreciated, and Kat was especially sweet to my kids, taking the time to talk to them and make them feel special. We will drive a little farther to visit this location next time we want Dairy Queen.
