Absolutely worth the drive from Spokane. I went back two days in a row and that’s how good it is. Fresh, farm to table ingredients, scratch made everything, and bold, thoughtful flavors. The smoked prime rib was unreal, the teriyaki beef bowl hit every note, and the scallop risotto was out of this world. Even the fries are next level, cooked in beef tallow instead of vegetable oil. Chef Russ is doing something special here. Cozy vibes, great bar downstairs with pool tables and karaoke. Bartender is phenomenal. Just an all-around gem. Highly recommend.

We stopped for dinner on Monday our way home from adventures on Lake Roosevelt.
We were pleasantly surprised to find the Monday special is Happy Hour All Day!
This gave us no excuse to not try several appetizers with dinner.
Curried carrots!? I don’t remember ever eating a carrot dish out before but they were a delicious treat that I’ll be ordering again.
We sat in the basement and watched the Gonzaga men’s basketball game.
Winter is a slower time of year for the Lakehouse so be sure to go out of your way to spoil yourself at this -just-off-the-395-Loon Lake-roundabout gem!

Nice find in Loon Lake. Food is excellent and atmosphere is retro…just right for out of town dinning. Waffle, two eggs and bacon was just right on first time through in January 2025. Update for march 2025. Had blue cheese burger with salad that was perfectly cooked along with a bowl of mushroom soup that was excellent and finished with vanilla and lavender ice cream that is made using emu eggs from local farm. Nice selection of beer, wine and mixed drinks.

Very good farm-to-table food cooked with care, quality ingredients, and balanced flavors. Lovely brunch with flawless cottage/skillet potatoes. Perfect hollandaise sauce on my veggie eggs Benedict (not easy). Tasty sauces also included chutney and raspberry jam, all made from scratch. A menu to please meat and veggie lovers alike. Looking forward to trying a dinner! Friendly, welcoming service in a pleasant but not fancy venue. A real treat! Just a short way from Hwy 395 in Loon Lake.

New owners remodeled and have an excellent menu. A chef who’s worked at some notable locations (Anthony’s, Clinkerdagger’s, etc) stepped out with his culinary educated son and just do food better. I ordered a bacon and onion omelette adding sausage and extra bacon… it was superb! We’re talking serious flavor… my friend ordered a Blue Cheese Burger that looked, smelled, and tasted delicious served with steak fries done right, crispy outside not mushy inside. The staff is as nice and attentive as could be. Prices are on par with everyone else these days, but the value from the quality ingrediants handled by a knowledgeable chef served with PNW hospitality produces a result well worth the drive! You need to go, and we’ll see you there!

We watched the Mariners win the ALDS in the 15th inning of game 5, and the staff was awesome in making it the best time for us Mariners fans! Thank you Lakehouse Bar & Grill!!! We will be back! I love coming here. I try and order something different every time because the food is DELICIOUS! The flavor, portion, and the variety are spot on. This time we had dinner, I ordered the Elk Burger and my BF had the meatloaf. Amazing and great service. I forgot the young ladies name but it was Saturday night and she was great! It is worth the try, trust me!
