Cracker Barrel has come so far on food quality. Steak & egg hashbrown casserole is one if the best, with a garlic butter sauce that puts it over the top!

There are so many wonderful things to browse through while waiting for your meal!
& my meal was delicious!
I went for the sampler and tried the meatloaf and the country chicken. I got the gravy on the side and chose the mashed potatoes and the fried apples as my two sides..
Oh. My. Goodness.
Those apples were amazing!!
The chicken was surprisingly good. It paired wonderfully with the mashed potatoes and gravy.
The meatloaf was also good. It is loaded with green peppers, and unfortunately, I am not a huge fan. I quickly tired of picking them out and ended up concentrating on the chicken… okay, okay, the apples!

My friend ordered the chicken and dumplings with mashed potatoes and Mac n’ Cheese.
They thought everything was great!
My friend also had the cornbread, which they did not care for. But they thought the Biscuits were quite good.
Of course I will be back!

I ordered the Uncle Herschel breakfast. Which consists of 2 eggs, biscuits and gravy, your choice of breakfast meat, for my other included side dish, I ordered the hash brown casserole. My wife had the Old Timer’s breakfast.
We thought that our breakfast was quite tasty, and our server Sam was quite attentive and friendly.
My wife likes the more modern decor that this location switched to, but I prefer the old style decor that Cracker Barrel is famous for. Overall, it’s a good place to eat and fairly reasonably priced and I would certainly recommend this restaurant.

I had fried chicken, mashed pots, slaw & biscuits. Son had steak & shrimp, green beans, steak fries & corn bread. The chicken, steak, shrimp, fries & biscuits were delish! The corn bread, mashed pots & green beans weren’t worth eating, which was fine because we were stuffed by the time the good food was eaten.

I suppose it’s a sign I’m turning into an old curmudgeon, but the menu & decor changes at this restaurant had my senses low key reeling.
The taste and texture of my “country fried steak” was unlike any I’d ever ordered there (or anywhere else) previously, and it was only my aversion to confrontation that kept me from summoning management and demanding a refund. The decor changes weren’t at all to my liking, and my dinner companion and I were a bit taken aback by the addition of alcohol to the menu. We’re occasional drinkers with no religious objections, but I confess the thought of the stereotypical 80 year old plus Cracker Barrel clientele cracking open a few pregame cold ones before hitting the highway was a sobering thought.

This is a very good Cracker Barrel , It’s a REAL family restaurant ” no alcohol ” thanks for keeping family first! We don’t go to any Cracker Barrel that sells alcohol, because we don’t like the horrible bar experience that those have!
I had a wonderful fried chicken dinner, with okra, mashed potatoes and gravy, along with a great salad, and yes the mouth watering biscuits with apple butter.

The food is amazing with such a good home-made taste. The store is really cool but way over priced and honestly made me feel claustrophobic. It’s a pretty busy restaurant so expect it to be kinda close quarters with everyone at all times.
