another disappointing review!!!! I used to really enjoy Raising Cane’s, but lately it’s been disappointing. The chicken fingers keep getting smaller and smaller, yet the prices keep going up. For what you pay, the portions just don’t feel worth it anymore. The food still tastes good, but value matters—and right now it feels off. I hope they reconsider portion sizes if prices are going to stay this high. come on!!!!

Chicken fingers with thin, crispy, tempura style breading. If you’re looking for more protein, this is it. Lemonade was excellent too

This review is about my experience last week with this Canes. I have loved Canes since early 2000s when we first had it. We have been coming here since this location opened. We are frequent app pick up users. This last time I ordered in app for pick up, took it home and my husband asked if I got a kids meal. When I opened my food the fingers were SOOO small and there was maybe about 15 fries. I’ve never eaten a 3 piece meal and been hungry afterwards. We both could have eaten at minimum 1 more finger. I went through the app after to complain about the “kids meals” we received. I also attached pictures of the meals to prove it. A week later I still hadn’t heard back from anyone, so I called the number on one of the reviews here. I wasn’t expecting anyone to answer, since it was 530 PDT…but I got connected to the sweetest customer service rep who was actually able to pull up my complaint with the pictures to validate. After explaining everything she was so sweet and is mailing us 2 combo cards as an apology. I felt heard and appreciated as a customer. That is why the 5 stars for service and atmosphere. IDK if it is just THIS one that has the small chicken? Maybe we will try a different location next time but this is the one we always go to.

We are done. Just had our last trip to this restaurant. This place has become the biggest ripoff in fast food. We have had friends kids who have worked here. My own son worked next door when they opened this Canes. But it has gone so downhill in value lately, it’s not worth it.

We always order the naked chicken… it’s unbreaded. We get the sand 6 piece with fries and a soda. Used to be around $12. Now it’s over $17, which is ridiculous! But that’s not the worst part… what’s worse is that the new portion size is about ½ what it has been for so many years!

Fine… Costa go up, make a small adjustment in price to cover your costs. But a $5 increase over the years and cutting the chicken size in half? That’s just ridiculous! Look at the photo. The chicken is barely bigger than 2 fries. And to top it off, we went back a few days later to see if that was done sort of a fluke. Nope, people. That’s what $17.00+ gets you at the LAGUNA Hills Raising Cane’s. And on our next trip there, the portion size (of the chicken) was even smaller.

Shame on you!

Best chicken and best sauce so far! We love it! The place gets too busy depending when you go and maybe there will not have available seats. They have seats outside as well. If it’s too busy the order takes a bit long. Inside is clean and organized.

This place has a consistency of ruining food orders. The last incident was last night I ordered the sandwich combo and the fries were super salty not edible at all. I was very upset as I picked up my order and drove back to Irvine only to find out my fries were very salty which absolutely ruined my dinner! The sandwich was good but I am very disappointed with this restaurant as this incident wasn’t the first I have had many issues. I hope they can fix those issues asap

The food here is great, but the drive thru situation is a nightmare that management needs to fix immediately. Due to the layout of the parking lot, there are two competing lines with lots of angry customers forced to constantly fight with each other to get into the ‘real’ drive through line. This leads to lots of people ‘stuck’ without a way to get out and very angry. They need someone out there directing traffic. We will not be coming back until they get this fixed. If you come here do yourself a favor and order ahead.

I’ve been a loyal customer of Cane’s for years, but this location has gone downhill with each visit, and my most recent experience was the worst yet.

I ordered a 4-piece combo for dine-in and a sandwich combo to-go. The dine-in meal was extremely underwhelming. The fries were soggy and I was literally given about eight fries total, spread out on a plate that was unusually small — not the normal wider basket Cane’s typically serves meals in. The bread was cold and damp, and the chicken fingers were the smallest I’ve ever seen, closer to the size of nuggets than tenders.

The to-go order I checked later was just as disappointing. Even my mom, who I brought food home to, commented that it felt like a scam because of how little food there was. The 4-piece combo wasn’t filling at all, and with the portion sizes I received, even the 6-piece wouldn’t feel worth it. Paying nearly $20 for a meal that doesn’t satisfy is frustrating.

It’s sad to see how much this location has declined compared to a few years ago when food quality, portions, and service were much better. What you get here now looks nothing like what’s advertised on the Cane’s website.

I hope management takes this feedback seriously because this experience does not reflect the standard that Todd Graves built Cane’s on. At this point, I can’t recommend this location until improvements are made and I might be done with Cane’s altogether.
