Incredible food… but be ready to order yourself.
Let me start with this: the food at Talkin’ Tacos Town Center is absolutely fantastic. The flavors are bold, fresh, and crave-worthy. You can tell there’s real talent in that kitchen. Despite the frustrations I experienced, the food alone is good enough that I will be back.
Now for the part that caught me off guard.
As a first-time guest, you’re expected to place your entire order through a tablet kiosk. There’s no greeting, no explanation, you just sit down and figure it out yourself. For someone with allergies (I have nightshade allergies), this made ordering stressful. I couldn’t clearly figure out how to modify meals or communicate dietary restrictions through the system, which is nerve-wracking when you’re trying to eat safely.
After navigating the kiosk and placing our own order, the tip screen pops up.
Tip… for what?
There was no table service, no one took my order, no one checked on me, no “how is everything?” The food was simply dropped at the table. I even had cash ready in case someone provided service, but there wasn’t any interaction beyond delivery.
That said, the food really is that good. Fresh, flavorful, and worth the visit. I just wish the hospitality matched the quality of the kitchen. A quick explanation for first-timers or a check-in from staff would go a long way, especially for guests with allergies.
I’ll absolutely return for the tacos. I just hope next time the experience feels a little more welcoming and less like I’m ordering at an airport kiosk.

Wow don’t know where to start. I’ve had an amazing experience every time i come here. Their food is off the charts. I recommend everyone try this place once, you’ll for sure become addicted. The style is so cool, food & drinks are delicious & the staff are all so nice. You can sit inside where everything is neon & so artsy & cool or you can sit outside patio style. I’ve done both & loved them both. They play great music. This place is a whole vibe, I’m here for it. LESS TALKIN’ MORE TACO!

Helloooooo first timer here from ATL and my brother told me about this spot! My best friend and I HAD to come in and test it out and they did NOT disappoint! The tacos I had were very filling and FIRE! My Besti looooved her burrito and the chips are very good. The atmosphere is amazing (currently still here)! Elote corn BUSS I mean everything we ordered SLAPPED! Money well spent I’m glad I don’t live here because they would be tired of me and I would be 450lbs mkay lol free refills is a nice touch all in all I give it 1000/100 stars HIGHLY RECOMMEND ☺️

Visited the Jacksonville branch for the first time, and I must say that it didn’t live up to the hype. I had the trio tacos. The shrimp was okay, the Mahi was dry, but the Caribbean was really good. The street corn nachos subpar and came out super fast. I have eaten at the Miami Talkin Tacos and it was delicious, and significantly better. This didn’t hit.

The food was so fresh and very delicious. I love the atmosphere with the black lights too. We also got right in without a wait. The only thing negative that I have to say is that you order through a kiosk or a tablet at your table and I don’t think that is very personable. Everything else was great! We all enjoyed our meals.

I don’t usually like to leave bad reviews but I don’t want others to have to experience what I went through. First when you walk in your greeted by someone telling you that you put your order in at the Kiosk. Personally I think the tip that I left should have gone to the Kiosk because it did a better job. The best thing I ordered was the watermelon jarrito just for reference because everything else was honestly insulting to eat due to the lack of flavoring. The house hot sauce wasn’t even good so there wasn’t a way to even make my burrito taste better. The chips are the easiest part and they were still, inconsistent with some being fresh and some being stale but none even had salt. For how much money you are spending at this over hyped restaurant you would think at least the atmosphere would be nice but Im sitting here listening to reggae while I’m eating Mexican food. I truly wish I could get my money, time and most important my appetite back, but I wouldn’t even go back there if they paid me to eat there.

The food was really really good! But. With the high price of everything, it seems like you’re paying for the atmosphere more than the food itself. I had also ordered pumpkin spice churros, and it was bland on its own, but the toppings is what made it better.
So just saying, if you’re craving Mexican food, you could anywhere else and have a much better deal while keeping the flavor. But for nice pictures and presentation, come here.

Like others, I hate to leave non-stellar reviews, but that is the main purpose of leaving reviews, right? It’s wonderful that this place is open late. Lots of people coming and going. Food is made fresh to order. The music is a little loud and unpleasant. The floors are a little dirty. Overall, it feels very chaotic, busy and messy. You order at a kiosk and they call your name and bring it to your table when ready (for both eat-in and to-go orders). My tacos fell apart the second I picked them up to eat them. You would think such a popular taco place would know that they need to double up their tacos! Not my first choice but satisfying enough, and the vegan tacos were tasty. They ask you to leave a tip at the kiosk when you pay for your food before you receive any kind of service – seems backwards and presumptive. It worked for one meal but DEFINITELY would not return.

The inside has a cool vibe. Love the artwork. The food on the other hand, it’s super greasy, salty & not so good. The horchata also didn’t taste quality. The churros were not quality either, most def had better. Pricy for its quality. wouldn’t return.
