This restaurant, located on the second floor has the best Catfish Poboy.

Not a ton of seating, but great to slip in and grab a bite. Great for takeout, it’s cooked fresh so call a head or give it time.

I’ve been to Sugar Lou’s several times for lunch, and they never fail to impress. Not only do they offer a wide variety of menu items, but they also take requests for custom orders. Good food and great service. I would recommend this to anyone working in the Louisiana Tower/ downtown Shreveport if they want something good and affordable for lunch.

5 Starts!!!!! The food we ordered was so delicious!!! Both my husband and I had the Patty Melts with fries. Talk about scrumptious goodness!!! We highly recommend eating here!! The owner is an amazing cook and so friendly!! We will definitely come eat here again when we visit Shreveport. A++++

Had no idea this place existed. A coworker said they were going and I tagged along. I got a fried chicken wrap and fries and I was so pleasantly surprised! The vegetables on it were fresh and crisp and the chicken was awesome.
It’s a short walk from my office so I will definitely be back!!
