The complimentary focaccia bread was i probably could’ve just eaten that for my entire meal.
Cant go wrong with any of the pasta choices. I got the short rib ravioli, and my friend got the cacio e pepe. Both were phenomenal. For desert we did a chocolate mousse and the tiramisu.
The mousse felt unreal, it was beyond smooth and the tiramisu was 10/10.
Service was amazing, our waitress was super kind and helpful when giving suggestions or checking in with us, and there were always people going around making sure our waters were full.
It was a bit dark but was a nice mood at night with the snow outside, just kinda hard to take some pictures
Seriously? An Italian restaurant? Have you ever heard of «Al dente»?
The mac and cheese at Walmart tastes better!
And the sauce? They literally just poured 2% milk.
Go buy a ready-made Alfredo sauce at Trader Joe’s!
Even the cold, day-old, dried-out focaccia tasted good compared to the pasta!
We started with their happy hour, which was amazing – great drink specials and small bites that set the tone for the night. The food was absolutely delicious – fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Can’t wait to go back. Thank you so much Bertin!
The complimentary bread with accompaniments were a nice touch. We loved the sundried tomatoes, green olives, and kalamata olives. The focaccia bread was delicious, but I wished there was more, and maybe warmer.
Burrata Mediterraneo – The burrata was creamy perfection, with a delightful mix of cherry tomatoes, olives, and balsamic glaze. We cut it up and made mini bites with the pita, which was soft and fresh. 5 out of 5.
Fritto Primavera – The calamari and shrimp were cooked perfectly. Squeezing lemon over them and dipping them in tartare allioli elevated the crispy, battered seafood to the next level – the tartare allioli was so good we asked for another! The veggies shone brighter than the seafood, especially the zucchini. 5 out of 5.
Chitarra Alla Carbonara – This pasta was an umami bomb with its rich bacon flavor and creamy egg yolk sauce. 5 out of 5.
Agnello, Carciofi e Verdure – The lamb chops were beautifully accompanied by artichoke puree and mixed vegetable caponata, completing the dish. The chopped veggies and puree are what made this dish! 5 out of 5.
The Nocciola e Tartuffo Cheesecake – Wow… this was smooth, velvety, with a truffle crème légère that was otherworldly. Nicol’s recommendation didn’t disappoint. I’ve never had cheesecake like this before. 5 out of 5.
Exotic Panna Cotta – It delivered on its promise of exotic freshness, with pineapple and passionfruit sauce adding a tangy twist. 5 out of 5.
Throughout the meal, we found ourselves reaching for the saltshaker. We observed that some of our dishes lacked salt, namely the fritto primavera, pasta, and lamb chops. This was particularly noticeable when compared to offerings from their competitors. I would advise to consider enhancing the salt content in the dishes or ensuring each table has a saltshaker for convenience.
Finally, the service was fantastic. Nicol was attentive, knowledgeable, and ready with recommendations. She made sure that we had a special dining experience. The other staff members did a fantastic job of clearing our tables and replacing our silverware. We felt pampered and taken care of here. Thank you for a memorable night. We look forward to our next visit for a special occasion!
NEVER COMING BACK HERE !! The place was so crowded and we could barely talk to each other and when the guy came to take our order, he had it all wrong because he was not able to hear us in that loud space and in the end we had to pay so much extra money for the stuff we didn’t wanted to have but because the server messed up listening to our order. The food was good though but i value my extra money spent than the food at this point.
