We’re ordered 2x Jarret Fumé Gratiné à la Tomme d’Alsace et Salade Verte, Spaetzle, 3x Onion Soup and a steak
The roasted Pork knuckle gratin with potatoes is some sort of pot, but both of them were frozen inside. Unsure if that’s how it’s supposed to be, we did eat some before sending it back because it wasn’t good. They did reheat them.
The onion soup was average, but for almost 13 euros, even in tourist locations in Paris you can get better onion soup overall. It was by far the most bland we’ve had in France, which we visit multiple times a year. For that money not a recommendation
The steak was alright, no complaints on the taste, just a bit on the expensive side for such a small steak
Then above all, one of us got food poisened right after this meal due to the cold frozen Roaster Pork gratin. The whole evening throwing up, and unfortunately we must suspect the cold pork knuckle, which in our opinion is not okay because other customers have complained about this here before.
The atmosphere is warm and makes you feel special. The humorous and artistic wall paintings, stained glass accents, and rustic furniture all come together beautifully. Everything was impressively clean and well-organized.
The service was excellent. The staff were kind, friendly, and spoke great English, which is a big plus for international guests.
Definitely a must-visit for a pleasant and thoughtful dining experience. I’ll certainly be back again!
The food was very nice. Especially the onion soup and flamm Kuchen. The flammkuchen cream was very smooth and literally melted in mouth. The selection of dishes is quite large and the vegetarian options are quite good too. The wine selection is large ranging from all local wines.
The staff is super nice and kind and attentive to details. Definitely worth a visit
