Man, this food was sooo good and very authentic. The woman who took our order was cheerful and accommodated our ignorance with sweet tolerance. I left feeling full and satisfied and glad I ate locally with such delicious fare. They have so many vegetarian and vegan options too. I HIGHLY recommend giving this place a try for delicious food from another culture.

The tibs, injera, split peas, and collard greens were outstanding! Portion sizes are generous, and the staff are friendly and welcoming.

We love their food. I don’t know what spices they use but its so well cooked I don’t even need to know, I’ll just keep coming back here for my Eritrean/Ethiopian fix. 1000% recommend trying this place out for their food.

Your mouth starts watering before you even open the door to go inside. My husbands favorite is doro tibbs and mine is kei wott but everything we’ve had is good. The collards are not my favorite side tho. I am totally in love with the injera bread.

After watching an episode of “No Passport Required” we wanted to try Ethiopian food, and we went to Mannaweenta. We were very impressed with the hospitality, the quality of the food, the quantity of food, the variety offered. They are currently only offering take out, but when they heard we were from out of town, they kindly opened a back room just for our party. So we thought the management bent over backwards with their hospitality. Our favorites included the cold field pea salad, the okra, and the potatoes. Believe me, the servings are so generous, I can’t imagine ordering the “Large” plate. We liked Ethiopian food, but to be honest in the end we decided it wasn’t going to replace our love of Mediterranean or Indian food. So we’re awarding 5 stars for quality of food and hospitality. You should definitely try it.

The food at this restaurant was wonderful, but it was not as clean as it could have been. The server was extremely nice and helpful, and the food seemed fairly fresh. It also had a nice ambiance.
