Expected a much higher quality of ingredients, the food presentation is nothing close to “culinary artistry” as mentioned in their instagram page.
The prices are highly exaggerated, you will be paying for the location and not the food.
Fried calamari were overcooked.
Fennel sauce with scallops had 0 flavor profile.
Lobster spaghetti was outrageous (photos speak for themselves).
If you want to have high-end items on your menu the LEAST you can do is work on their presentation
Service was impeccable, such a shame to have ruined the experience with low quality of food.

an average spot, mainly because so many places in Beirut call themselves “French restaurants” and end up having almost the same menu , nothing really new or unique. The place itself is well-decorated and has a high-end feel. The food was good, but for the prices they charge, that level of quality is expected. I had the seafood pasta, which tasted good, but the seafood itself didn’t quite match the standard of the place. On the bright side, the service was beyond amazing. It’s a good spot for work lunches or special occasions, but overall, nothing exceptional.

We just loved it !!! We were positively surprised by the ambiance the food and the service. The menu is very interesting with several choices for a quick lunch or a cozy dinner. We had the foie gras and raw fish for starters they were both delicious. The meat and risotto were very good also and you can’t skip dessert ! The service was perfect. Will definitely come back.

Nicely surprised, something that I don’t get often. I am known to be very picky.
Ingrédients were super fresh, salad amazing. I got the tenderloin it was medium rare cooked to perfection. I got also some green beens on the side, was also perfectly cooked, crunchy and tastfull.
As for the price it’s a bit expensive, but worth the experience for me.

I had a fantastic experience at Lezard Noir! The place is really nice, creating a welcoming and cozy atmosphere. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. The staff were excellent—friendly, attentive, and professional. Overall, a top-notch experience.

Great restaurant in the heart of downtown with a good menu, reasonable prices and a nice design.We ordered a burger and linguini truffle, which were fine. However, the seafood linguini was the best. The hot chocolate is superb as well.

Everything was simply perfect. From the delicious, flavor-packed dishes, to the genuinely welcoming manager and attentive staff, to the unbeatable quality-to-price ratio—experiences like this are becoming increasingly rare in Lebanon. And whatever you do, don’t leave without trying the signature “Pain Soufflé” dessert—it’s an absolute must!
