Absolutely the best brisket I’ve ever had. We went midafternoon and over ordered but need to go back to try other items.

Pulled pork was moist and tasty. The sauces were unique. The beans were savory and had large chunks of meat. The elote, corn cooked with sour cream, was totally new to me. It was good but I need more experience with it to know if it will be a frequent order. Excellent fry bread and a unique coleslaw – honey lime. I liked it but Deb not so much. Large portions well worth the cost. Definitely will go back and have already recommended it to a golfing companion.

By far the best BBQ I have *ever* had! Miles beyond anything I ever had in Texas, including Franklin! Blue Deer Barbeque

The brisket was heavenly and the sauces, blueberry and spicy, took me to another realm.

And here’s the kicker — the sides. I loathe the sides from every BBQ place I’ve been in. Utterly unimaginative and all tastes like it’s from a can.

Here, you see elote style corn, honey-lime coleslaw, and…more heaven on earth….their brisket pinto beans. The beans are super tender and the brisket must be smoked with local wood, because it tastes like a piñon and cedar fire on a cold winter night smells. (If you know, you KNOW that particular ecstasy!)

Every side complements the meat and each other. They don’t sit there on the plate in never-to-be eaten lumpen mass like every plate I had in Texas.

Still trying to process the culinary experience and the wonderful aroma when walking in! This is food made with lots of love and care infused into it. 5 stars (and then some)!

Incredible barbecue, I had the brisket and it was rich, smokey and mouth wateringly tender. Definitely worth a stop if you’re in town, and don’t skip the fry bread either.

Best meal we had in Taos! The pulled pork was tender, the sauce was delicious, and the fry bread was perfect. Elote was great too! The guys working the counter were really nice and friendly. This is a new business – the place is small and they’re supposed to be part of a food hall but it doesn’t seem to work the way you’d expect (no communal seating, for example). If you’ve got a large party, plan on take out.

Other than good barbecue sauce, the brisket and fry bread were quite greasy and not edible. The brisket was moist, alrhough i think that was because there was so much extra fat. We had trouble ordering as the young girl was not able to answer any questions and the chef/manager didn’t seem to want to help. There certainly was no friendly greetings either.
Overall, disappointing as we were hoping for another option in Taos

Amazing brisket and pulled pork, the fry bread is fabulous and the signature Blueberry Barbeque Sauce is out of this world!! Oh my! Honey lime coleslaw is surprisingly refreshing. These folks have it down!
