A restaurant worth the hype! The brunch will certainly leave you full! We headed in early and it’s good we did as by the time we left the line was out the door. The raspberry lemon pancakes were a crowd favorite but we also loved the spinach goat cheese omelette! Would also recommend the Thai banana pancakes if they are available at your visit.

Super grateful to our waiter, Daniel, for his kindness and patience during our dining experience! He was attentive and helpful!

Stopped in for breakfast with my wife, she came away saying it was the best breakfast she’s had in America, and I definitely agreed.

We both are not big breakfast people but when we are wowed by breakfast it means it’s impressive. She had the pork belly waffle and I had the spinach, goat cheese and sausage omelette.

The pork belly was cooked to perfection, both of us are chefs/restaurant owners and admire when pork belly is treated with such respect. The outer crust was crispy and had a perfect crunch while the interior remained soft and juicy. Achieving that crisp and retaing the juice with pork belly is tricky due to the high fat content of the cut, respect to the chef.

The goat cheese spinach and sausage omelette was excellent and the potatoes were perfectly cooked and seasoned.

Overall super happy with our dining experience, service was excellent, food was superb. Do yourself a favor and stop by, you won’t regret it!

My number one spot for breakfast. At a great location in Winter Park (park ave). Service is always top notch and food quality hasn’t changed and I’ve been dining here for more than 15 years. Only slightly negative thing is that $25 for an omelette and eggs Benedict is CRAZY LOL. But their serving size is the same and their eggs Benedict are always on point and the California Benedict is my go to breakfast meal. May I also suggest their French toast? You won’t regret.

The food and service was really good. Our server Jill, was amazing. I would definitely recommend coming here for brunch or breakfast. I will have to come back and try a dinner item. My wife got the California Benedict, she loved it. I got the Very Berry French Toast…excellent. the spacing inside the restaurant could be better. It was very tight spacing. Apart from that, no complaints at all.

The food here is incredible and the wait staff is very knowledgeable and anticipates the needs and wants of the customers. As someone else in the food industry, these guys nailed their brunch service so well that we came back again the following Sunday and it was just as good. Will come back whenever in this part of florida!

Shout out to Rayna, who took really great care of me! I dont think my coffee every reached below half – thank you, I’m a coffee lover, I think you sensed that!

I haven’t been here in a while but it looks like they renovated- definitely an improved style. I love the wood floors and clean color pallet…

Now to the food, I highly recommend the Smoked Salmon Scramble: the eggs were soft and creamy (cooked just enough – NOT overcooked), the biscuit was light and fluffy (didn’t even need butter but I indulged anyway) the home fries are HUGE (crispy on the outside & tender in the middle) – so good! I also had a side of Canadian Bacon – I just HAD to – crispy on the outside, juicy in the middle – worth the indulgence! I can’t wait to go back and try more goodies from the menu!

First time eating here and it won’t be my last. The pancakes we had were some of the best we have ever had. The wait to get in was not as bad as we were expecting as they move people in and out quite frequently. The service was fast and the food came out hot as well as fresh. You do get a lot for what the pricey dishes as we had leftovers too. I highly recommend eating here if you love breakfast.

So first I recommend dining outside, as if you dine inside it can be loud. So my wife and I shared the Truffle Burger and then had the most delicious Carrot Cake. The burger was tasty…. But the carrot cake is out of this world, and hands down the best I’ve ever had.

Our server Jaylee, was super friendly and personable and recommended the Carrot Cake. My wife hates raisins, and this had raisins in it. Jaylee was able to effectively put my wife at ease and explained that you won’t even notice that the raisins were there.

Jaylee also recommended some other places along the way for food and coffee. Having a server that is knowledgeable about the area and can make solid recommendations for those tourists looking for something off the beaten path, is truly amazing and very appreciated.

I went here for brunch today. $140 for 3 people. Service was ok, average. The food wasn’t great. I ordered the grouper sandwich. There was a lot of hard, thick breading. It was a very thick sandwich. I would have preferred less breading and not as thick. There was barely any fish, mostly breading. The fries were great. My drink was a moca latte. It was ok but definitely not worth $10.50. For what we all had and the quality of the food it should have been a $50 meal. I was disappointed.

We visited The Briarpatch for a 3:00 PM Valentine’s Day brunch and had a stellar experience. If you’re heading to Winter Park, plan ahead for parking by going straight to the garage on Canton Street; levels 4 and 5 provide free parking, which is much easier than hunting for street spots. Despite a large crowd outside, we were seated promptly for our reservation even though we arrived five minutes late. Our waiter, Carter, was exceptionally attentive, taking our drink orders immediately and even taking the time to shoot some cool photos of the family.

The drinks arrived quickly; the Bourbon Black was sweet and punchy, while the Mezcal Margarita was strong and smoky. Family-style sharing is our go-to, and the generous portions here make that easy. My wife and I shared the 10 oz. Certified Angus Skirt Steak & Eggs, which was served with a flavorful chimichurri. We added several à la carte sides, including the thick-cut applewood smoked bacon, French fries, and the avocado with olive oil and sea salt.

The kids’ meals were an absolute highlight. The VDay pancakes were delicious, topped with raspberry jam, buttercream, chocolate chips, and fresh raspberries. My son also loved the Nutella waffle, which came with sweet strawberries and vanilla mascarpone.

Just a heads-up: it’s worth making earlier reservations if you can, as popular menu items like the short ribs (and even bananas) tend to run out later in the day.

We finished the meal with a plentiful slice of carrot cake that easily satisfied all four of us, along with a double espresso and a cappuccino.

We left happy and well-served, hearing a thoughtful “thank you! enjoy the rest of your weekend” at least three times on the way out.

We can’t wait to visit again to try other menu delights.
