This experience was no different. 5 of us arrived and were quickly seated and given menus. We ordered drinks and looked at the menus. I have been here so many times that I know the menu by heart- and I ordered my typical- Chicken Nachos and Wings.
The Nachos never fail, they are huge and crispy and so tasty- and shareable! My wings were good, crispy, and spicy. Everybody at the table enjoyed their food, we enjoyed each other’s company, and our server was awesome.
It had been my wife’s birthday the previous day, and I asked the waitress if she could surprise her with a dessert. She brought out a Capt. Jack’s Buried Treasure ice cream came with 5 spoons! It was awesome!
The Ale House never fails to deliver!
This is a large restaurant chain with 558 locations as of 2018 and 55 sites in Florida. According to this restaurant’s website, “We are known for our large portions, great prices, warm service, and shareable appetizers, including our famous buttermilk-drenched, hand-breaded boneless chicken Zingers® and Zingers Mountain Melt®”. I have been to at least two of these locations, and I agree with this statement about large portions, great prices, and warm service. We were greeted as we entered and seated at a table in the middle of the restaurant. It has at least 3 sections and a bar in the middle. Most of the restaurants in this chain have a very warm feel to them, and this was no exception to that observation. There is a mix of booths and tables. We got a booth. Our waitress was very nice, but was not having the best of days. I appreciated her authenticity and honesty about lack of caffeine and being in the weeds, and she was good at her job. Their menu has pretty much something for everyone. I ordered a hamburger with fries. It came out quickly and was very good. The prices were reasonable for the economy and the area. One of the challenges for this location may be…the location. The traffic along the main road can get busy and congested, so be careful when travelling to or from this place. There seems to be ample parking. Overall, I was pleased with the food, service, and price and would recommend this place to anyone in the area wanting a good meal.
Ordered the Zinger Mountain and mozzarella sticks, and both delivered. No surprises, no letdowns—just solid bar food done the way you expect it. Portions were good, food came out hot, and it paired perfectly with watching the fight on the big screens.
This is the kind of place you go when you want something familiar, dependable, and low-effort. Plenty of TVs, lively atmosphere, and you don’t have to overthink the menu. If your goal is to eat, watch a game or fight, and relax, Miller’s does exactly what it’s supposed to do.
This man deserves a promotion, so take care of him or sometone else will. I believe Miller’s Ale house is very fortunate to have a guy like you do in Dave.
What really stands out is her attitude. She’s always positive, professional, and clearly takes pride in what she does. You can tell she genuinely cares about giving customers a great experience, not just serving drinks.
If you’re going to Miller’s Ale House, do yourself a favor and grab a seat at Amberly’s bar.
A few weeks after this incident, some friends went to a celebratory event at Miller’s. I did not go because it was at Miller’s. I will not patronize a restaurant that violates health code and is a willing participant in this patron’s service dog fraud.
