Fresh good authentic El Salvadoran food with an open air patio atmosphere and a chill vibe. It reminds me of my Abuela‘s patio. I love the Christmas lights. Very festive and friendly.

Best authentic tacos around. They have a special 3 tacos and soda for $7.95 the chicken fajita platter is awesome. Fresh great flavor.

Without exaggerating, best pupusas in the WPB area. Reasonably priced given how stuffed and big they are (they include the curtido and sauces too!). Very nice outdoor, courtyard seating. Will definitely be coming back.

El Carbonero is an outdoor eatery, very relaxed and laid back. I ordered tacos al pastor and 2 pupusas revueltas, my sister ordered beef soup and my daughter got a grilled hamburger. Lemme say the grilled burger was absolutely delicious,it’s the best I’ve had in forever, meat was well seasoned and juicy. My pupusas reminded me of the ones I had as a child in Belize and my sisters soup was a hug in a bowl. Service was a little bit on the slow side even if it wasn’t so busy. I also ordered a cold beer because it is an outside eatery and it was hot and I asked for a chilled beer mug and lemme say the mugs werr made for a giant, please have smaller mugs that make the drinker enjoy the beer and not let it be a workout with a bad arm/hand.

This place left me speechless… in the best way.
First thing you notice is the vibe. When we went, it felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. It felt like hanging out in your abuela’s patio. Super cozy and authentic. Ordering might be a little tricky if you do not speak Spanish, but the menu has English translations which really helps.

Now the food… the pupusas were incredible, and the beer came ice cold with a lime already in it. But what really won me over was the price. For two people, the entire check with tip came out to just twenty dollars. That is almost unheard of in this economy. It is refreshing to see a small business that is not price gouging and actually cares. Definitely a hidden gem in Lake Worth.

El Carbonero is a mostly outdoor Salvadoran and Taqueria place in Lake Worth. Reasonably priced Tacos, Pupusas, various plates, very good Micheladas. Feels like a place in Mexico or Central America. Food solid, but service can be a little slow.

Found the place because I rented an Airbnb, it was an extremely beautiful and a low humidity day, decided not to drive, decided to not drive, took a walk, saw welcoming tables set up, umbrellas on every table, outside that looked like it was inside. (LOL). Decided to take a chance without reading any reviews last minute just stop in. I was SUPER HAPPY about my decision.

Upon walking in a nice Lady by the name of Reyna greeted and got me a table. Food was fantastic, ordered Taco’s and 2 Coronas with Lime. Got to have limes, yeah I know, just Taco’s trust me, outstanding. Ordered Chicken, Pork and Steak Tacos. Came with all the fixings. Taste, one of the most flavorful I’ve had.

In a Nutshell, ambiance, colors, art, price, food and Reyna (Staff) all was above and beyond. Local spot etc, amazing

Such a hidden gem! I am Salvadoran and often miss my mom’s cooking and crave a good pupusa. Found this place and we finally tried it today and it was DELICIOUS. Very cute set up and it was so nice to sit outside in the shade with the breeze. The pupusas are so yummy and my husband got a steak meal that was tasty too! A must try!
