Reviews
The restaurant is nicely decorated. There are plenty of tables and a few private party rooms. Reservation is a must.
The duck was excellent. The side dishes were just ok… With the exception of the string beans.
Service is great and quick. But we did order the duck the day before. We got the family package that comes with all the side dishes.
However, prices are high and the portions are on the smaller side. The duck is pretty good though with the wrap. The beef rib was alright but the flavor was pretty good. Got the passionfruit green tea and it was good, tea is refreshing with a subtle passionfruit taste and not too sweet.
What truly made this place stand out, though, was the service. It was honestly some of the best service I’ve experienced in America. The staff were incredibly attentive, warm, and genuinely caring, constantly checking in without being overbearing and making sure everything was just right. Their kindness and professionalism really elevated the whole experience. Even though the food itself was more on the simple side, the service alone made the visit feel special and worth it.
1. The service is really nice though it’s relatively a busy day on Christmas Eve
2. Options are quite good compared to normal Chinese restaurants, especially the kids option. It tastes good for my daughter too.
3. Tried the dessert yogurt which is pretty good too.
In general, I recommend Xibei as a great option for families.
The set came with several well-prepared dishes, including flavorful braised pork, perfectly cooked green beans, a comforting soup, and a light, refreshing fish dish. Portions were generous and everything tasted fresh and authentic.
Great value for the price — highly recommended for sharing with family or friends. Would definitely come back!
It’s the kind of comfort food that hits the spot whether you’re shopping or just craving something warm and authentic. Prices are fair, portions are generous, and the overall vibe makes it a great new addition to the mall’s food scene. Definitely coming back to try more!
We got the
– Mongolian beef rib platter, I ordered this one both times I went.
– lamb skewers
– dry pot cauliflower with pork
– simmered beef stew with potatoes and carrots (it was okay will probably not order this one next time)
– fried rice with shrimps
– crispy fried golden millet bomb with molten brown sugar. I really like this dessert. Fried mochi with hot brown sugar filling.
Tried the WoWo before, it was fine and the shredded chicken with cold oak noodles.
Service is good, the staff was very nice. And they have private rooms which is a plus.
