Everything tastes incredibly fresh. The sauce, the cheese, the crust – you can tell real ingredients are used and cared about. And don’t skip the baked ziti… It’s absolutely to die for!!!
Tonight made us love this place even more. The owner, Nick himself, came out and talked with us and treated us like family. He was so kind and genuine, and it says a lot about a restaurant when the person running it cares that much about customers. Thank you Nick!!!!
Nick’s serves up authentic NY-style slices that are huge, flavorful, and perfectly cheesy. The God Father slice is a must-try, and the garlic knots are out of this world. Friendly vibe, great service—definitely worth the stop in PCB
Walking into Nick’s we felt welcome.
I thought this would be another over hyped tourist spot on Google but it wasn’t.
The pizza was some of the best pizza I’ve had in a long time. This is truly Brooklyn style pizza not just claiming to be.
We browsed the case of pizzas & made our selection.
Garlic knots, spinach pie , sausage pizza, slice of the chicken parm pizza & a slice of margarita pizza.
Service was top notch and just the right amount of personal touch.
Everything was delicious the garlic knots were piping hot and all the pizza slices were fresh and delicious.
If I’m in PCB again in the future I’ll be sure to stop back by.
Big fan of good pizza and Nick’s tops the list !
Absurdly huge pizza which was so good!!
2lbs per slice is amazing! Had leftovers for days!!
Family had been there a few times before and raved about it….now I know why!!
Will definitely be back!!
We ordered mushrooms. I found only tiny pieces. We ordered onions and again only a few pieces were found. Bacon was you be added to half. There was VERY little to be found.
This pizza was a HUGE and very expensive disappointment. Never again. The only thing that got right was the deep dish crust.
If you like extra EXTRA sauce (that you didn’t ask for) and skimpy topping that you paid extra for but didn’t get, then Nick’s is the place to go.
Never again!
My wife, son, and I arrived just before 6 pm on Friday evening, January 26. There were plenty of open parking spots and we found one right in front of the door. We walked in and saw the counter with what resembled an buffet right in front of us. The menu was posted on the wall above and toward the latter part of the counter.
My wife opted for the garlic knots and 1 slice of cheese pizza. I had made my mind up when I first read about Nick’s – I was going for a slice of the meat lovers Godfather. We were given our cups for the self serve fountain drinks which I got while my wife found us a place to sit.
It wasn’t blasted type busy, but it was bustling. I can’t imagine what it’s like during the peak tourist season. (Side note – the off-season is my favorite time of year to visit the Emerald Coast. ) There were maybe 20-25 people total in there divided between 8-10 parties. It wasn’t difficult at all to find a seat.
After about 10-15 minutes our order arrived. The garlic knots were served with a marinara dipping sauce and were very dense, hot, chewy, garlicky and fantastic. I only ate one (they were my wife’s after all) because I still had this 1 ½ inch thick slice of pie covering an entire 10″ paper plate to eat.
First of all, this thing was HOT. And if that wasn’t enough to make it difficult to pick up and eat, it was huge! After 3 or 4 attempts at taking a bite that resulted in a scorched tongue or burnt lips, I finally got to it.
Y’all, it was SOOO good! It was filled with meats and cheese and was incredibly tasty. The crust was soft and chewy, but crispy at the same time. The only thing I found disappointing was the lack of enough sauce. If you’ve ever read any of my reviews, you know that I love extra sauce. Luckily this wasn’t a big deal as my wife didn’t touch the marinara that came with the garlic knots and I was able to use it. Next time I go, I will ask for extra sauce on the pizza. I may have to order a whole pie then, but so be it.
Overall, we had a pleasant experience and I really want to go back before all the Spring Breakers invade in a couple of months. I want to get the extra sauce and see if we can get to that full 5 star experience I was hoping for.
