This was my third visit to the Silver Diner, and it’s always good! Chef Ype does a great job with the menu, lots of healthy choices and plenty of vegetarian options, all in a fun diner atmosphere. I love that they serve breakfast all day and have such an extended menu.
Parking is easy, the service is always friendly, and the prices are okay (though I don’t remember them being quite that much before). Still, it’s a perfect spot to start the day or grab a nice lunch.
I had the Quinoa & Coconut Pancakes, excellent! and the Power Breakfast, which was honestly very good too. Way too much food, but I took the pancakes to go. I am never disappointed at this diner.

A real classic American diner! The hamburger and fish & chips were the best I’ve had! The Dubai chocolate milkshake was great as well. The sweet potato fries with the burger were too soft though, not much crunch to them.

The Oaxacan Omelette was delicious. Great amount of food for the price. Andrea provided great service, she was very attentive and professional. The establishment could have been a tad cleaner, but overall it was a nice experience.

Decided to have a brunch date with my friends, and the food was delicious. Our service was quick and fast and can I just say that Stacy is an exceptional server, she was very attentive and made sure our drinks were refilled, and our table was cleared. Real diner atmosphere with mini jukebox at the table to play music for a quarter. It played random music while I was eating. Ordered the lemony hummus Greek salad with cauliflower pita bread which was toasted. I add grilled shrimp. The salad was delicious and filling. For dessert I ordered the mini hot fudge sundae with strawberry ice cream and whipped cream. It was a good dessert which was just the right size.

I don’t often do reviews for chain restaurants, but this one was exceptional. The food was delicious! My husband and I went here for breakfast while traveling for work. It was a busy Saturday morning, but we were sat right away. Our waitress was super nice and the food was delivered to our table quickly. I was delightfully surprised at how fast the service was considering how busy the restaurant was. I had the power breakfast without mushrooms, and my husband had the buttermilk pancakes & eggs. The eggs were cooked perfect, the bacon was crispy, and the pancakes were light and fluffy. 5 stars!

Had the Eggs Benedict and a steak, and both were excellent. Even the potatoes, which could have been a bit plain, had a great kick from the caramelized onions and spring onions. Would definitely come back.

My husband and I are traveling, only in town one evening.selected this place because it said it was a diner. First, it’s far from it.
It’s a seafood place.
We walked in, no one at the hostess desk or near it. We wondered if it was a seat yourself place but saw the menus on the host desk.
So we waited. A very unfriendly young man came and grabbed two menus and proceeded to turn around, we asked for a booth. We supposed we were to follow as no words were spoken to us.
We were visually directed to sit down and he walked away.
We waited for a bit until a nicer young man came.
Everything was so much harder to do than it needed to be.
I’m not sure he was listening or if he just didn’t understand us. We do speak English, so I don’t understand the problem.
I think he had too many tables and was too spread out.
We finally got our salad and soup starters and almost immediately got our food.
I had the fish and chips my husband the meatloaf.
The fish was ok
The Slaw was very good
The chowder was too fishy for me
The French fries look like they came from steak and shake.
The meatloaf tasted like it came from Swansons.
I ordered the apple pie for desert, I thought I was gonna take a nap waiting for it.
I guess they had to run to Walmart to get it, as that’s what it tasted like, but I like Walmarts pies, but I expected more from a “diner”
I travel a lot I would never stop at a Silver Diner again must be a local cuisine.

Our server was very friendly and nice & gave good recommendations. They were out of crab for the crab melt on the menu. The replacement was a pastrami melt, which was good. I ordered the French toast meal, I was disappointed when it came out room temp. I asked our server to warm it up which she did with apologies. It was good, my preference is for breakfast to be served hot. The atmosphere was very welcoming & relaxed, nice blend of music streaming, including Christmas music. Overall, it was a good experience, what you’d expect of a good diner.
