Went there for a lunch – and loved it. The decor and ambience is much nicer than in other similar places. Also more spacious than others, easier to talk or just enjoy the food in a pleasant atmosphere. Personally, I rank it on the upper side of similar all-you-can-eat sushi places in this area. The food presentation, ambience and overall perceived quality is just really good. This place impresses. The bite-size servings and presentation quality make it more like a fine tasting experience. I had approx 17 courses, varying from Miso soup to eels (enguias) nigiri and all sorts of specials. Paid 22,80 per person including a drink. Very good price / quality ratio. Will come back. Please note that in this restaurant you’ll need to use your phone to order your courses (unlike in some competitors where you have a tablet installed at each table).

This place is amazing, how anyone could give it less then 5 stars is beyond me (in any categories). My attached pics are from one meal for one person (4 selections x 4 orders (I was full)). Great presentation and the flavor is beyond explanation. This is my third visit in 1 week, and I’ll be back again soon (all visits, were lunch). One price, all you can eat! And the app you use to place your food orders is very easy to use and it tracks what you’ve ordered so far (you can select 4 items per (unlimited) orders. Just amazing.

Beautiful presentation, exceptionally high quality, and incredibly attentive service. A complete and memorable dining experience. Highly recommended.

Samurai Tamashii offers good-quality Japanese food in a stylish and modern setting. The dishes are fresh and well presented, and the menu has a nice balance of sushi, hot dishes, and smaller side options. The atmosphere is relaxed, and the staff are friendly and attentive.

Prices are slightly higher than average, but the overall experience makes it worthwhile. A solid choice if you’re in the mood for Japanese cuisine in Lisbon.

Ever since its “upgrade” a couple years back, this place has been one of my favourites for sushi in Lisbon.
In the beginning it was “all you can eat”, now it’s still the same, but in a slightly different aspect: there are no more crowdings over the buffet – there isn’t one! The buffet is within your mobile device, you order and within minutes it’s made and brought to your table! Then again and again.
The list is huge!
The taste is very good, almost excellent I dare say!
Whether you are here as a couple, or as a big group, the experience is always very good!

Overall the sashimi and raw fish / shellfish is the best here. The sushi rice is a bit dry / too much vinegar and the hot foods are a bit too salty. All drinks including water cost extra, minimum of 2.50€ and up, so the real cost of All You Can Eat is likely more expensive than 24€!

Amaebi shrimp was sooo sweet and the crowd please of the night! The raw scallops were really fresh, much better than the cooked.

PAY ATTENTION TO THE NEW PRICES!!

Samurai Tamashii is a decent, well established japanese food restaurant known for it’s “all you can eat” menu.

They underwent a major rebranding recently and not only did the decoration and image of the restaurant drastically change, the prices also went up.

Forget about the pictures posted here on Google Maps of the 16/18€ priced buffets.

Nowadays they charge 24,5€ for the all you can menu, a fact that i was totally unaware of untill i got there.

The truth is the restaurant is simply stunning with the new decorations, the walls, the ceilings look amazing and overall it’s an extremely pleaseant place to eat.

The sushi is good in comparison with other restaurants of the same sort and the dishes come beautifully arranged and wrought in elaborate pieces of kitcheware.

The drinks are terribly overpriced even for the standards of this types of restaurants.

The 0,48l pint costs a whopping 5,2€!!!

A small soda can (0,33cl) 2,90€!!

I get that they must make money but this only forces the clients to restrict themselves from drinking at their leisure to avoid a punitive tab which takes away some of the experience.

The staff is nice and tries to be helpful but the communication could be improved a bit.

In the end, Samurai Tamashii is a sure-footed choice for sushi and japanese food in general, specially for group dinners but the new prices make other cheaper alternatives stand out.

4 stars.

Lovely interior. Wide selection of food and drinks, with great presentation. Their basics are really tasty, the others were not for me…Sashimi was fresh and tempura was really delicious. Restaurant and restrooms are very clean. Lovely service! From what I gathered, they speak English, Portuguese, and Mandarin.

The restaurant is excellent. The value is fantastic and loved the easy ordering system via your mobile phone. It’s so good because you can order so many different things and try lots of the menu. Every single dish we had was high quality. Enjoyed it so much we came back again the following evening. Would come back to Lisbon just to eat here!
