A lovely experience. I went to the restaurant that night with my daughter because we were hungry and it was the closest thing we had to a restaurant. The food was very good, the tea was delicious and hot, and the service was fantastic—10/10, everyone was so friendly. The ambiance and decor are very traditional, which we liked even more. We had no problem with the tip I left, unlike some negative reviews that mention it, but that wasn’t the case for us.

Beautiful, spotless restaurant, friendly, caring staff. I love the wall color and the beautiful chair covers. We are vegetarian and gluten free, and the server was very knowledgeable and accommodating. He patiently explained what they use for the chow fun. We had egg drop soup, vegetarian chow fun and sautéed string beans. Their tea is also excellent. Everything was amazing, delicious, can’t rave about it enough. I recently moved back into the area after 20 years and the food is just as good as I remember it as a teenager!!

It’s one of my favorite Japanese/Chinese restaurants. Food is amazingly good. The place is clean and the service is excellent. If you want to do a hibachi table, you must call and reserve. Went with 3 people, and surprisingly enough, it was less than $50.

I’ve been ordering from Mushroom Chinese on 779 Montauk Highway for FIVE whole years and always tipped well and enjoyed their food. I tried ordering tonight dinner for two for me and my dad and they said “Tip more than 5 dollars or we will stop delivering to you.” We ordered 4 small things and we live less than 2 minutes away. My dad is law enforcement and he wasnt feeling well We said $4 tip but it wasnt good for them. I am sick to my stomach. How dare they. What a shame. It’s Christmas and they showed no kindness. I will no longer order from them.

Mushroom ..Montauk Hwy West Babylon I’ve seen reviews and trust me things have changed. Went for the first time today and Wow ! I will definitely be back . Everything we had was delicious , fresh and light ! They start you off with some fried wontons and a sweet and sour sauce along with some Tea that was so good and HOT! Perfect for this freezing cold day! We ordered the hot and sour soup . So flavorful ! Kani salad . It has mangos in it which I loved ! Also the seared tuna, 2 chef special sushi rolls , shrimp pad thai , salt and pepper shrimp , along with this little wok that came with beef chicken and shrimp ( apologies I can’t remember the exact menu name ) but the salt and pepper shrimp was my favorite ! Try this place for yourself ! Its one of my new go tos!

Delicious!!! This was my first time back in many years. They place is really nice, and clean. Really good service. Every dish was presented nicely. Since they do deliver, this may become our new go to place for Chinese food. Has a higher end feel, with the comfort that Chinese food gives. Enjoy!

I have been ordering takeout from this establishment for close to twenty years. Tonight I stopped in to grab a small soup for my wife who was not feeling well. Unfortunately I only had my credit cards and asked for her to make an exception. She informed me that she couldn’t sell it to me because there was a minimum. For twenty years I have tipped this person on take out orders I waited when they have messed up an order. She said no again so I went some place else. If this is how you treat your customers they should put you in the back to wash dishes or handle the trash.

Food was good. Service was fine until very end. A very rude waiter called our a guest at my table and questioned the tip she left for him! Very embarrassing! She then felt obligated to leave more- which at that point, was undeserved. The entire party said thay would never eat there again.

I ordered online from here for the first time. It said my meal comes with rice. I get there and they tell me it doesn’t come with rice. I sad well it says online that it does so that’s what I ordered and I’d like the rice. They gave me the rice and proceeded to be nasty and tell me I was wrong, meanwhile it says it right on the website. I appreciate that they gave me the rice but the nastiness was a huge turn off.
