The menu is huge so there is something for everyone. My favorites are the Lobster Garlic Noodles, Stacked Turkey Club, Cobb salads and cheesesteak.
Their happy hour deals are pretty good. They do have a waitlist you can join on their app. Hard to believe this used to be a Romano’s Macaroni Grill.
I went on a football Sunday, and like any respectable adult, I waited it out in my car for a table. Worth it. They even had outdoor speakers broadcasting the game, which is a brilliant touch and something you do not see everywhere. That alone told me they understand their audience.
Once seated, the menu is massive almost overwhelming. So instead of getting cute, I played it smart and stuck with familiar choices. And let me tell you, they obliterated my expectations.
I started with the Four Cheese Spinach Dip, and wow. Creamy, rich, indulgent, and perfectly balanced. It set the tone for the entire meal and easily surpasses most artichoke or spinach dips you will find elsewhere. Absolute winner.
Then came the main event. A 20 ounce bone in ribeye with parmesan mashed potatoes, grilled baby broccoli, and a grilled shrimp skewer. Everything was cooked to perfection. The steak was juicy, tender, and full of flavor. The mashed potatoes and broccoli were seasoned exactly as they should be, and the shrimp tied the whole plate together beautifully.
And that steak sauce? Exquisite. Slightly sweet, bold, and downright addictive. The kind of sauce you think about after the meal is over.
Yard House delivers big flavors, quality execution, and an atmosphere that keeps you locked in from start to finish. This is how you do elevated dining with personality.
Second Visit:
I was able to indulge in the Four Cheese Spinach Dip again, but this time I decided to branch out and try additional appetizers, especially since they are half off Monday through Friday, ending at 6 pm. Naturally, I ordered the buffalo chicken wings and I was highly disappointed, to the point where I did not even attempt to finish them. They tasted like they came straight out of a Tyson chicken bag from the grocery store. Completely forgettable and frankly unacceptable at this level.
I had the server exchange them for the Carnivore Pizza, and thankfully, redemption arrived. This pizza was thoroughly enjoyable, loaded with sausage, bacon, and pepperoni. The cheese was melted perfectly, stringy with every pull, indulgent, satisfying, and exactly what it needed to be.
I finished the night with the Spicy Jambalaya, and I have to be honest, the heat is intense. So intense that it overwhelms the dish to the point where individual spices and flavors are lost. The only way to truly taste anything was to eat the shrimp by itself. If you are someone who lives for heat, this dish is absolutely for you. However, if you are a flavor first person, I would not recommend it. I did not finish the dish, but I will not call it bad. It is simply overpowering when it comes to spice.
Food is super tasty, and even with a large group of 15+, food is served at a steady rate with no waits.
Beers are delicious – large choice! Not all are available, and depending on the waitress, you might get different answers on availability. Keep asking, and you’ll end up with a nice beer of your liking!
The mint tea was very disappointing—it tasted like plain hot water with no flavor. We ordered a full teapot, but the server told us the teapots were broken. After we complained to the manager, a teapot was brought out, but it still contained only plain hot water.
The mint tea was initially served in a cracked mug, which had to be replaced after we pointed it out.
Overall, we were not happy with the service or the experience and would not visit again.
Once we were finally seated, the service truly turned the night around. Our server was attentive, patient, and did an excellent job managing such a large table. Drinks were refilled promptly, orders were taken accurately, and the food came out surprisingly well timed considering how busy it was.
As for the food, it absolutely lived up to the hype. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. From appetizers to entrees, the quality was consistent across the table, and no one in our party had complaints. The portions were generous, and you can definitely taste the quality in every bite.
Overall, despite the long wait, the outstanding service and great food made it worth it. I would recommend Yard House for large groups, just be prepared for a long wait during peak hours!
The food was absolutely delicious, and the drink selection was huge (everyone found something they loved!). But what really stood out was the service. Our waitress team, Nathan and Timothy, were amazing—so attentive and friendly. We never once had our glasses empty, and they made sure our table had everything we needed the whole time.
It honestly felt like they went above and beyond to make our night special. Definitely a place we’ll be coming back to again and again!
