⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Osaka Hibachi Sushi & Bar is one of the best spots in Frisco! The food is always fresh and flavorful — the sushi tastes clean and the hibachi meals are cooked perfectly every time. The portions are generous, and everything comes out hot and beautifully plated.

The staff are super friendly and attentive, and they make you feel genuinely welcome. The hibachi chefs are fun to watch and make the whole experience enjoyable for families and friends.

The restaurant has a nice vibe — great for a casual dinner, date night, or even a celebration. Prices are fair for the quality and portion size.

Highly recommend Osaka Hibachi Sushi & Bar if you’re craving great sushi, tasty hibachi, and a fun dining experience in Frisco!

Absolutely amazing. The appetizers and sushi were delicious and in addition had surprisingly large portions and really good value. The service was great! The hibachi chefs were full of enthusiasm and put on an entertaining show. The food they made was so filling and we couldn’t stop eating it. Never had so much fun at a hibachi. Amazing service, great value and great prices!

Terrible in every conceivable way.

My partner and I have given this restaurant several chances. I’d like you to save your money and avoid it for the reasons we will be.

1) They do not care about your time. Whether dining in or ordering carryout online, sushi takes absurdly long to come out. The ballpark of an hour for pretty basic stuff. Drinks take forever, and the “bartenders” couldn’t care less.

2) It’s inconsistent, overpriced, grocery store sushi. There have been times it was “good”, and other’s we’d wished we got (better) grocery store sushi for lower cost. Our last order hit an all time low. BOTH eel roll orders contained mere slivers you would expect from the dollar general market (pic attached). The remainder of the rolls were equally disappointing. The Miso Soup contained a piece of seaweed and almost no tofu. The “spicy edamame” was unpalatably spicy.

3) You can make better drinks at home for a fraction of the cost. Their liquor selection is terrible, and it’s all massively overpriced. They try to charge “premium liquor” prices for mediocre liquor.

4) The management couldn’t care less.
— 4:A) On our first visit, my partner went to the ladies bathroom and was followed in by a man who urinated in there. She raised the issue, and nothing was done. They said nothing to him and allowed him to stay. It also took us an hour to receive our order of sushi rolls that night.
— 4:B) On a recent visit, we put in a pretty basic carryout order consisting of nothing complex – 4 basic rolls, miso soup, edamame, and one order each of sashimi (just a slice of fish) and nigiri (just a slice of fish, but on rice). It took them FIFTY (50) minutes to prepare. My partner waited for over a half hour in the lobby, while being told “just a few more minutes” constantly. When ordering online, they do not provide an estimated pickup time. When she complained to the manager, he had a bad attitude, was not apologetic or accommodating, and made the excuse that this was a “big order” (pic attached) and that they were “really busy” despite the bar and restaurant area being dead.

We tried supporting a local business, and it’s stung us over and over. You’ll experience better value, quality, and service by driving further to a good sushi restaurant.

Such a disappointing experience. I’ll never go back. Having a reservation we still had to wait an hour. 2 families in front of us left because of the reservation situation. The chef has the personality of a brick. Didn’t seem to want to be there. Soup came out cold, and our server tried to argue about it. I ordered a rare steak. They didn’t even offer to remake it. Reiterated it 3x to make sure he understood. It’s well done. The fried rice wasn’t good. How do you mess up rice? Overall no flavor. We were rushed out too. The server was talking about her plans after
DO BETTER.

Last Friday was my wife’s birthday. I booked the Osaka Hibachi table. When we entered the restaurant, we could smell the cooking, which made me even more hungry. The chef was very funny, and the whole atmosphere is very good. The food, service and cocktails are all great! Have a fun night,I will come again on my next party.

Brought the family to Osaka and had a fun time. The food was what you would expect for hibachi food. I’ve honestly never had incredible hibachi food, so this place was actually in the high end of hibachi food for me. The family liked the chicken and shrimp. They weren’t fans of the steak. It was a fun atmosphere with a few people celebrating birthdays. We had a calm hibachi chef while other tables had hibachi chefs who were so into it and performing for their tables that they were in a full sweat. My kids wished we had them as our chef. My recommendation would be that you ask for a table with an energetic chef if you want a WOW experience. Otherwise if people are nervous about the performance, you can just end up with whatever chef. Our guy was alright, but was probably doing this for the last 30 years and wasn’t exactly excited about it.

We had a party of 12 and they accomodated us right away. Our hibachi chef was amazing with all of the children in our group- he went out of his way to make things magical for them. We ordered dumplings, sushi rolls, and hibachi and all of the dishes were delicious. We all left with that great feeling of connecting over something special as a family.

BEST. SUSHI. RESTAURANT. IN. DFW! My girlfriend and I found this place by accident and we’ve quickly become regulars dining here multiple times a month. Their happy hour special is where it’s at: extremely affordable sushi, affordable drinks and the best staff! 10/10 recommend!

It was our first time here, and it will not be our last! Helen was our server, and she was so attentive and nice. We had the sushi pizza, sashimi deluxe, and tonkatsu Don. Everything was delicious and fresh. We were still talking about it for days. We just moved here from Houston, where we had a regular sushi spot as well, so we are so happy to have found our replacement. We can’t wait to go back.
