We simply had a great evening. Our server, Cristian, was friendly and attentive and helpful in making selections. I had the shrimp tacos and my husband, the fish tacos. The shrimp were some of the best I’ve had anywhere. Fresh, tasty, and the salsa fresh and tasty as well. The housemate guacamole was excellent. We were on the road going north and just happened to stop by since it was near our hotel. We would make the effort to stay over here again.

“When I first had their chicken flautas a year ago I knew I had to have them again”
Mi Pueblo is located in the growing town of Statesville, NC. There is an emerging Latino population in this area and with it has come a beautiful array of flavors and fragrances that fill plates and blues stomachs.
On a Sunday afternoon about 2 pm there was still a good amount of room for individuals and families. The restaurant is thematically curated, highlighting the pleasantries of masonry and the delicacies of framed artwork. I did feel an anchoring resemblance of Mexican heritage as I walked through the venue.
The staff are friendly and attentive, the restroom was clean and a great sound immersive to get a break from talking and instead listen to the sonics of cumbia, reggaeton, bachata, y corridos.
Sitting near or adjacent to the bar will grant you access to a couple of big screens that play the “big game” for the day. There is descent but not overwhelming sound from the tvs so you can at least catch audio glimpses of What the most recent call was.
The food.
The chips were warm, unsalted, and very crunchy. The two salsa options were pretty gif in their descriptors—being mild and spicy. I’m sure if you’re looking for a greater kick you could ask and probably get what you’re looking for.
The flautas were well portioned, well seasoned, a great temperature, and the perfect texture of semi crispy on the outside and very tender on the inside. The chicken tasted marinated. The cheese was generously applied. I was given the options of ranch and honey mustard sauces, tried them both (and appreciated them both) but they honestly weren’t even necessary. The queso that comes with them is a bit of a small portion, especially if the flautas are designed as an appetizer to share, but it packs a punch in flavor and is full bodied in taste.
They only had one hot tea option, but it was a great flavor and high quality.

Angel was our server. He was excellent. I had the Sopes, which were phenomenal. My friend had the steak fajita, which was huge and also so delicious! Wonderful atmosphere. I would highly recommend.

Visited this location for the first time today, after doing pick up orders only (and visiting another location previously.) Myron was our server – he was attentive, friendly, and provided excellent service. Absolutely delicious food, generous portions, and excellent prices for the quality. We’ll definitely be coming back to dine-in!

We drive from Mocksville to come to this location! Always great service and food is delicious. All the servers are helpful and friendly. This time we had Angel and everything came out perfectly and without delay!

Our meal was absolutely wonderful tonight! I had a special request to make a dish vegan and our server David was quick to help me figure something out – and it was delicious! He was also attentive and very nice, we love Mi Pueblo and will for sure be back!

First time I was there was today. My wife works near Mi Pueblo Mexican Grill. Thought we’d go there for lunch. I need to come in the staff on the quick preparation. Plus the food was great I had a steak fajitas the lunch version. It was an ample portion for lunch. And what my wife had was also prepared very quickly and was delicious. Whether you need to go for a quick bite or just a delicious lunch or dinner I would take the opportunity to try this place out.

Up until this past Saturday, the only time I had ever been to this restaurant was years ago when our family gathered after my uncle’s funeral for a wake type meal and celebration of my uncle’s life.
This past Saturday, we gathered for a more happy occasion: the birthday celebrations for my son and son-in-law. We had no reservations. We just walked in and asked for a table/area for a large party of adults and children. We were informed that at the moment, they did not have an inside area available, which would be large enough for our gathering, BUT they could accommodate us in their outdoor seating if we were interested. Well, why not? Right?!
I’ll admit I kinda wondered if we might be forgotten about by the servers by being outside – WRONG!!! Our servers were GREAT! Personable, with a sense of humor but yet very professional at their jobs!
We had a blast! We were serenade by a gentleman with a guitar! Our loved ones were given the traditional birthday salute by staff. Our food was great and served in a timely manner!
We all had a great time! I highly recommend this restaurant!!!!

Saul was amazing!!!!!!!! Suggested shrimp ceviche and it was spot on for what I was looking for. He also got me a skinny margarita, which was amazing and added a jalapeños to it
