This is a pretty cool bit of Route 66 history, and the food is great. It’s a big place, and you’ll have no doubt that chicken is the star of the show as soon as you enter; the big rooster statue makes sure of that. It was already decked out in Christmas decorations when I visited, but the restaurant is huge. Seating and service were fast, however, and I was able to order quickly. The menu has a decent number of options at reasonable prices, but I went with the classic chicken dinner. It was preceded by a bunch of delicious sides, and then the chicken came along with a potato dish. The chicken was nice and crispy on the outside while remaining tender and moist on the inside. It was very good, and I enjoyed the meal greatly. But it was a lot, and I was able to bring home leftovers and get another meal out of it. Overall, it’s a pretty cool place, and it’d be great with family or friends.

Great fried chicken.
It’s been around 25 years since we’ve been to White Fence Farm and I’m happy we popped by while we were in the Chicago area visiting.
We came here on a Wednesday night and the place was not busy at all. I’m sure it’s going to be jammed this 4th of July weekend.
Three of us were seated and our server showed up right away to take our drink order. We already knew what we wanted for dinner and placed that order at the same time.
The relishes came out right after the drinks were delivered. We enjoyed them all:
– Coleslaw
– Pickled Beets
– Bean Salad
– Cottage Cheese
– Corn Fritters
A bit layer, our meals came out. We all ordered Fried Chicken Dinners.
One of us had a baked potato and sour cream. She took that home. Two of us ordered mashed potatoes and gravy. The potatoes weren’t special but were tasty.
The chicken of course was the star. So crispy, so tasty. Loved it.
Great service and great chicken – we can recommend White Fence Farm to anyone that loves fried chicken.

Came here with friends and family since they had been here before. They give you some Kidney Bean Salad, Cole Slaw, Cottage Cheese, Pickled Beets, and Corn Fritters as an appetizer. I tried the chicken tenders. And must say they were the best chicken tenders I’ve ever had. The fries were very good too, although you didn’t get many fries. There is also a museum with a bunch of relics from back in the days. Definitely worth checking this place out.

The food was amazing! Very tasty and fulfilling from the tasty, chicken tenders, delicious corn fritters to the hearty mashed potatoes to name a few items.
The nostalgia inside the restaurant is incredible to see. From classic cars to household items from yesteryear. Even the animals outside were wonderful to see. A great way to walk off the delicious food we had! We truly enjoyed ourselves and keep it up!!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

What an interesting place. Had high hopes until we were practically booted out of there because we only wanted salads. It wasn’t enough 2 of ordered the chicken dinners and the other 2 do not like their food so the kids ordered salads. The waitress was so cruel but we kept our cool. We also ordered a 4 price to go so not sure what the problem was. Never again.

The food is still very good. However every change they make only drives more customers away. Zero consideration is given to making it customer friendly. In my opinion it is the reason they are no longer busy. Here are a few examples:
Won’t seat until full party is present (even though the restaurant is half empty)
No split checks
Even if celebrating a birthday you can’t bring a birthday cake (they allowed this for decades)
No green vegetables.

This place is a must Go! The Chicken is the Best Fried Chicken I have had! The Corn Friters are pretty amazing as well!!! The restaurant is so Big! Many rooms and also had a couple of old cars in a museum section along with old collectable items! Great restaurant to visit and eat!
