Our first visit went really well. Customer service was polite and welcoming, atmosphere was clean and comfortable. The food was delicious and priced extremely fairly. We both ate our fill for under $20 – that’s so rare nowadays! They have a pay it forward program for people in need, which was really uplifting to see. This place is a gem and we’re happy to have found it, we’ll be back.

Huge Pancake! If you order the Giant Pancake be prepared. It’s the size of a small pizza! When you enter Grace’s the menu is posted along the wall you walk along. Place your order and pay at the counter. They will bring your order out once prepared. The food came out in 5-7 minutes from the time we paid. The giant Pancake has good flavor. The half order biscuits and gravy (1 biscuit) was ok. Not super flavor, but a decent black pepper flavor. The bacon appears to be baked to me (which I prefer) it wasn’t greasy at all. The grits were really good. Added some cheese and hot sauce. All in all a good breakfast at a local mom and Pop type restaurant. Stop in and see for yourself!

They have this program called “pay it forward” where you donate to pay for a meal when someone asks. They don’t have a wide selection of breakfast or lunch menu, but what they do have is very specific. I have been a few times for breaskfast and lunch menu items where the “Goliath” burrito meatlovers and the Reuben were my go-to faves. Once your done or waiting on your order, you can browse in the second hand store that was the former bowling alley.

Gracie’s Restaurant is a very charming place. It is part of The Thursday Church of Knox County. The food was superb, the service was the best I have received in a long time, the atmosphere felt like family. The prices were great. You can get a soda for 1.29 from the fountain. Best Sweet Tea in the area.

This is the best place to get breakfast, brunch or lunch. Phenomenal pancakes! The staff here is just so nice and friendly. Worth the time to stop here. You can also go shopping in the store in the back.
